@RealAlbanianPat What I really want to see is a game that finds a way to simulate the parliamentary process as well as the effects of legislation and "general" popularity. Confidence votes, snap elections, etc.

@rynhayden @jdleggcan Also hard to promote things as "important" and then tell people it's ok for them not to come. It's hard for individual people to make choices, and even when they do, they often stress over it. There are times I want people to not need to stress about saying "no."

@jdleggcan @stephenrjking No one has to attend anything, and there would be nothing wrong with what you are suggesting. But there will be many who come to everything and I try to keep them in mind.

One of the things I've tried to do in my time as a pastor is to actively fight against the tendency for the church to always have something going on. In many churches I've been a part of, there was something happening nearly every day and people were constantly at the church. When people live at the church and just sleep at home, when can they be good neighbors? When can they be good family members? It's counterintuitive, but I think that we can actually diminish our witness by doing too much.

Obviously from a memory standpoint-I was born there, worked there, and met my wife there-but I think it's just plain dumb branding anyway. We/they used the "Trinity Health" umbrella for decades while keeping the local name. A lot of this going around. Get off my lawn.

This is a bit of an old man yells at cloud moment, but I just learned that Saint Joseph Ann Arbor completely deleted the "Saint Joseph" name in favor of "Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital" and boy do I hate it.
