It came up like once from some dude on some other planet for a second on one episode. Nichelle Nichols made a social impact but Ohura didn't address social issues in the show, because there weren't any social issues in the show.

Star Trek is science fiction so there's a lot of creative room for writers, yet they went with present day tiresome woke BS that we most hate in every day reality. I'm convinced that Hollywood & TV land produce movies & shows for themselves and the left. It's not interesting, unique, creative or sci-fi cool, it's the same woke messaging and ideology that's in everything else they put out. It's tiresome.
