Project needed to be dedicated center-running/bi-directional with a complete remake of H Street. Mixed-traffic operation in the gutter lane is recipe for failure.

@john102414 Start by tearing out the northern stub of 395, which terminates in the middle of the City. Speed delta between through traffic and local is really pronounced. Southbound entrance in the middle of Mass Ave is genuinely freaking insane. All kinds of safety issues there.

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump confirms the judge is WRONG and he does not need congressional approval to build his White House ball room “In the Ballroom case, the Judge said we have to get Congressional approval. He is WRONG! Congressional approval has never been given on anything, in these circumstances, big or small, having to do with construction at the White House. In this case, even less so, because the Ballroom is being built with Private Donations, no Federal Taxpayer Money!“

Would have been cool to extend towards RFK renovation, but original design was so fatally flawed that it might have been of marginal utility anyway.

@uber Need customer support ! Paid for package delivery in DC at 1101 Fairmont. Driver shows 1.15 drop off. Never made it. Driver couldn’t speak a word of English and there’s no way to contact anyone at Uber. Couldn’t send photo of drop-off. Fix this, or this shareholder is OUT!
