@cybelethebest @mmiakapro it’s a process lol I can usually bounce him to sleep but he prefers to be latched on momma when he’s tired and usually goes right out… he just started crawling tho so now that he knows he can move around it’s been… challenging to say the least 😭😂

one of the best things we did from day one to make naps revolve around our day and not the other way around was avoiding perfection. no “perfect sleeping environment” during the day. no tiptoeing around during nap time. no whispering. no blackout curtains. instead, baby wearing naps while i do chores (even loud vacuuming). car ride cat naps while i run errands. naps at the aquarium while being held and walked (video below lol). needing a “perfect sleeping environment” just leads to baby getting overtired and frustrated when they’re anywhere away from home during nap time. then suddenly your day revolves around nap times and you’re cornered.

@cybelethebest @mmiakapro you are lucky he will sleep in the crib tho! our 6 month old does not like that thing 😂 he used to sleep in the bassinet but he basically needs to be held by one of us to fall asleep now. He does like sleeping in the lay down stroller tho which has been helpful.

@mmiakapro This worked well for us for the first few months, but around the 4 month mark things changed, he just wouldn’t pass out so easily in the carrier anymore, we had to start getting him in the crib.
