Tshisekedi gets a pass on harboring over 200 armed groups, including the genocidal FDLR. He also doubles into genocide, which also gets swept under the rug, and so much in-between, and now he is massacring thousands of innocent people with drone strikes; the list only grows from worse to worst.

Zijin Mining Group is launching one of the world's largest lithium mines in the Manono region of the DRC, aiming to boost Africa's role in the global battery supply chain. The project is expected to produce about 130,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent per year, potentially accounting for nearly 5% of global lithium output by 2028. A new processing facility will transform about 500,000 tonnes of lithium concentrate annually into lithium sulphate for battery manufacturing. Ownership of the project is split, with Zijin Mining holding just under 55% and the Congolese government maintaining a significant stake to ensure local involvement.
