RESI just rebranded to Zipcode and it's one of those moments where you can feel a project level up.
The name hits different. "Zipcode" sounds like something that belongs in the real world, not just crypto Twitter.
It's not just a new coat of paint either. The network is launching June 1, a finance platform opening June 11, and loan settlements coming this summer.
For context: Figure raised $150M+ to tokenize home loans as a company. Zipcode is building a network that connects borrowers to the best lender instead of routing everything to themselves. Same market. Better structure.
$36 trillion in US home equity. 70% of household wealth locked in houses. The generation holding most of it needs it liquid. The infrastructure to do that at scale doesn't really exist yet.
