@JaneFeathersto1@Channel4News Switched off - second night in a row. Who the hell are the shouty local politicians there for? Locals know, and the rest of us don't care to know - even if they had been stopped from shouting over each other
One day a politician is going to be asked to go on the media to talk about policy not personalities and until that day comes Britain will devalue itself further by the hour.
This is a G7 economy, not the Big Brother house.
@Juliest101@BBCNews I am now looking at who is presenting @BBCr4today before tuning in because I can't bear the constant grandstanding by some presenters and I have listened all my adult life. Had to switch off today
I'm old enough to remember when @BBCNews was a source of reliable and accurate facts and information.
Now it's a toxic institution intent on bringing down a sitting PM and I for one am absolutely fucking sick if it.
Since the Brexit referendum 10 years ago, we’ve had six Prime Ministers (including Cameron). The sixth, Starmer, is wobbling. It’s been a decade of immense instability, and the idea that the chief architect of Brexit, Nigel Farage, would improve things is one of the most audacious claims in British politics.
How much pressure is the prime minister under after the Lord Mandelson vetting row?
Ahead of PMQs, @HZeffman says there might not be any impact 'in the very short-term' but there are 'chances of something happening' after next month's elections.
@peter_levy Last night's Look North was harrowing to watch - but gave the victims the dignity they had been so cruelly denied in death. May this thoughtful programme bring reform, to prevent this horror happening again 🙏🕯️
Home after 11 days, our dog is nearly hysterical, sobbing with love and relief that we are back. The cat cannot quite seem to remember where she met us, but does not think it was a very good experience.
@TheCiderShedPod I didn't believe that bit - I'm surprised by how upset I feel by how shoddily he is being treated by his family. He built the farm with Pat. Let him keep his cattle #TheArchers
Was kind of surprised at how childishly placated Tony was with his miniature Anguses in place of his actual cow-sized ones.
Most peculiar.
Pretty sure he already had some for his train set anyway.
Did Pat drug him?
With special soup.

I did a reading the other night at the Muswell Hill Bookshop and Parlour (2nd hand books, mostly) and Katrina the co-owner gave me a framed picture of the 6th form drama group that she and my late son Eddie were in, back in the late 1990s. They were wearing zombie make-up.
@MDut21 Absolutely agree 👍 the only reason she wants rid of the cows is money - she wouldn't have any business without her parent's hard work and takes everything and everyone for granted #entitled
I’m very cross with Helen- those cows have some of Tony’s favourite things for 12 years and Helen’s taking them away from without remorse.
😡
