Maybe they are just describing their actual playbook 👇🤔 On April 28, 2025, voters in the Ottawa area riding of Carleton delivered a historic verdict. Liberal candidate Bruce Fanjoy defeated Pierre Poilievre by over 4,300 votes. This marked the first time since 1993 that a major federal party leader lost their own seat. Canadians in Carleton made a clear choice to reject him. The Conservative leadership refused to accept this outcome. They immediately enacted a plan to circumvent the Carleton voters and keep Poilievre in Parliament. The orchestration began in Alberta. Conservative candidate Damien Kurek had just won the riding of Battle River-Crowfoot in the general election. Less than two months later, on June 17, Kurek abruptly resigned his seat. This resignation served as a coordinated “backroom deal” to open a safe vacancy for Poilievre. On August 18, 2025, Poilievre ran in the resulting Battle River-Crowfoot by-election and secured his return to the House of Commons. Elections Canada data shows taxpayers paid ⚠️‼️$2.34 million for this manufactured campaign.
