An innovation in this year’s @SwanRailway diesel gala was an improvement to the “loco departures” at Swanage. This year we’ve added a full working list in case the loco you want is further up the line 👍 (ideal when allocations change and the printed versions out of date!)

@trainfanmatt On the whole - the question is whether it’s a heritage railway or a tourist attraction. Both bring different expectations - with disruption you really need to get info to people quickly, this helps. Alas these days the railways have to operate as tourist attractions to survive.

@swlines Thanks Tom. Not knocking what you've done, it's just not for me. I think it's prompted some good discussion about it and it certainly hasn't detracted from a fantastic day. I'm also sure I'll be appreciative of the automatic data entries when I get to my Railmiles later 🤣

Let's not normalise this at heritage railways. Really doesn't fit in with the authenticity of it all

@reacttoyeallows @frahnetic @wonky_veg @thetrainline If your train is cancelled and you choose to abandon travel, you should refund the ticket with who you purchased from. If you're *delayed*, then you claim Delay Repay from the operator.

@GordonDudman @trainfanmatt @chriscollins462 @TrainSplit @firstclassemil In a correction to my earlier comment, it’s because the train in the timetable data is marked to split at Milton Keynes, so it continues to the next one to Glasgow. RTT has corrected it to next train internally.

@ScotRail @RealtimeTrains @RailMiles @ScotRail this is still broken, 2 weeks later. I tried emailing the nomad service desk per the wifi page but my email was refused. Really poor.

@ScotRail @RealtimeTrains @RailMiles HA16 is the coaching stock set, but 40616 is the vehicle I’m in. It’s a nomad problem anyway as I can ping other IPs in that block, it’s (once again, as it always is) an incorrect site filter block. This really needs fixing more permanently 🙃

@ScotRail I am on 1B30 (HA16) and for some reason your wifi is blocking both @RealtimeTrains and @RailMiles, again. :(

@ianvisits @ofmilesfromhome to be fair, retailers have been sending out emails about it since 1st March; we sent all of our customers from the last year emails about it shortly after the (essentially) embargo lifted on Sunday. there's quite a thorough comms campaign about it.

@gceccles @GordonDudman @ScotRail Better to get the true experience of how the railway treats issues, rather than just sending an email to the appropriate person (which I've done before.) This issue has been going on for years.

I'm almost amused that @RoyalMail have failed to deliver a parcel to an address stating it was inaccessible. The address is open 24/7.

450104 is currently long-term out of use, and hasn't seen use for i believe a few months.

We've just launched RTT+, our new subscription service that unlocks ad-free viewing and more! Just £25 a year. We've also added extended data history (3 months, 6 months by January 2026) - helpful if you want to lookup quite how late that train was way back!

In terms of running RTT, we do have a small number of consultancy & data agreements with rail but majority of revenue from advertising, B2C sales (RailMiles, shop), etc.

Just discovered the Weekender Return on @Se_Railway £32 with a @_Railcards from Ashford to London and back in a weekend. And you can travel on High Speed Javelin trains for this price, so journey time is a mere 38 mins! What's not to like? Pick up this fare at @RealtimeTrains
