@nats_tired Not quite true, Centre Parcs are well designed to actively deter visitors from leaving the resort. The access road will be as long as possible with many bends and pinch points. Cars will have to be parked more than a convenient distance from lodges deterring a quick nip out, etc

The Balgreen Road/ Corstorphine Road junction is still half finished and still closed. The junction has been narrowed significantly, so if you get stuck behind a vehicle turning right, and you want to turn left, you might be there for a while. I can't find plans or timescale.
