who would be interested in buying share of my holding company? not just a single product but the entire portfolio collectively they do $1m / month with very decent margin you should not look for a quick exit more for growth and dividends

also, don't use reevo. it actually sucks. completely slop. I built my own little CRM that is good for my use case and still has more thoughtfulness than this 😿

so apparently the only way to cancel @reevo_ai subscription (which has almost a vibecoded, tasteless product, despite having raised $80M) is to get on a call with them. so it's been months since i let them know i want to cancel, but they wouldn't do it until i get on a call.

OpenAI's new deployment arm partnered with 19 consulting firms. They're building enterprise AI implementations at scale. But here's what they're missing: Mid-market companies ($2M-$30M) have the exact same problems as enterprise. Messy ops. Disconnected tools. Workflow chaos. The difference? They need solutions in weeks, not quarters. And they can't wait for 14 people to approve a deck. That's not a small gap. That's the entire market everyone's ignoring while chasing Fortune 500 logos.

Try to build as much code as possible over the next few months. The prices you are seeing now for AI will probably not last too long.
Hedgie@HedgieMarkets

🦔Microsoft canceled its internal Claude Code licenses this week after token-based billing made the cost untenable, even for a company with effectively infinite cloud resources. Uber's CTO sent an internal memo warning the company burned through its entire 2026 AI budget in just four months. American AI software prices have jumped 20% to 37%, and GitHub (owned by Microsoft) is dropping flat-rate plans for usage-based billing across its products. My Take The AI subsidy era is ending in real time. The same company that put $13 billion into OpenAI and built the Azure infrastructure powering most of Anthropic's compute just looked at the bill from a competitor's coding tool and decided it was not worth paying. That is not a productivity failure on Anthropic's end. Token-based pricing is forcing every enterprise customer to confront the actual cost of running these models at scale, and the number turns out to be far higher than the flat-rate experiments suggested. This ties directly to my Gemini Flash post yesterday. Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google all raised effective prices in the last six months. Enterprises that built workflows assuming AI costs would keep falling are now watching annual budgets evaporate in months. Two outcomes look likely from here. Either enterprises scale back AI usage to fit budgets, which slows the revenue ramp the labs need to justify their valuations ahead of IPOs, or the labs cut prices and absorb the losses, which makes the unit economics worse at exactly the wrong moment. Both paths land in the same place, the numbers stop working, and somebody has to take the writedown. Hedgie🤗

Everyone is racing to build AI SDRs. But sit on enough demo calls and a different pattern shows up. The top of the funnel is getting easier. Identifying visitors, drafting personalized outreach, surfacing intent, even booking the meeting. Agents do most of it now. The meeting itself is where the wheels still come off. Reps walk in cold. They miss the buying signal that was in the email thread two weeks ago. They handle one objection well and fumble the next. They forget to follow up on the one feature the prospect actually leaned forward for. So the funnel has shifted. The bottleneck used to be volume. Now it's execution inside the conversation. More meetings booked by AI doesn't help if the meeting itself is the weakest part of the cycle. Its tablestakes to leverage AI for call prep, talk time, coaching and yet, over 80% of prospects I talk to are just recording calls and dumping them

GTM teams are about to eat so good. Every B2B company is racing to launch AI products, which means they're all competing for the same eyeballs. The winners? Companies that actually know how to position, distribute, and build communities around their AI tools. Distribution > product features in this market.

I am launching a new format on YouTube. I feel like I am taking a risk as my last 3 videos are bangers (23K, 15k and the last one with 6.3k views in less than 48h). This format will be way more personal. A vlog style, where I'll document how we grow Distribb to $100K MRR. We are currently at $10K MRR (10%) and I thought I would get inspired by mamen @marclou for the famous "upload bar" thumbnail. I'll publish it today at 7am CT. Excited to see how you'll welcome it 🙌

Kevin O'Leary says getting divorced is the stupidest economic decision you can ever make "If you're happy 51% of the day with your wife or husband, stay with them. Every time you get divorced, you pay the person you divorced and you pay the government a third" "This is the stupidest thing you can ever do. It took your whole life to actually create this nest egg. Think about that for a while because you are going to wipe out up to two thirds of your wealth. You better really like somebody else a lot" "And frankly, sometimes it's not the other person that you're divorcing. It's you. You're the problem and you should probably not get into another economic union. You should probably just date till you drop dead because it's stupid"

most sales teams are vibecoding when they should be letting the agents use cli to do the work the irony is they think they're being productive but they're just cosplaying as developers while the actual solution is sitting right there

"Slowly, I realized data in sales is not the same as signal in sales. GTM has its own intelligence. The pipeline in a CRM is not the real buying journey. It has been logged. That makes intent data interesting. It's not complete. It's closer to behavior. "

Ways to win in B2B sales: 1) Be significantly faster to signal than your competitors 2) Be significantly easier to act on than your CRM 3) Be significantly more accurate than manual research 4) Be significantly cheaper than a full SDR team Pick one.

this is a terrible take A CMO or marketing job isn’t to build an “audiences” followers don’t mean customers. Your job isn’t to get followers. A lot of terrible marketers have big followings that just means they’re good at social media not marketing
