The long term effect of Covid on education won’t be a generation of children who may have gaps in their knowledge, teachers will sort that. It’ll be a generation who have no teachers at all because they’ve all left.

I told stories (not my own - myths, folk tales) because I thought it was a good thing to do. I learned to tell them by doing it. Also it kept the kids quiet.

Covid in schools 😷🦠 I currently know more people testing positive with covid than I ever have during the pandemic so far. The restrictions lift on Monday… Make it make sense. 😵‍💫🤷🏽‍♀️

Schools have been abandoned by the Government. More children isolating than at any point apart from Lockdown. School leaders daily on a knife-edge. Huge workload just dealing with it Schools limping towards a finish line. Yet, just silence from the DfE
