At the Gauhati High Court, Justice Budi Habung and Justice N. Unni Krishnan Nair were sworn in as permanent judges. The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice Ashutosh Kumar in a ceremony held at the court premises. Both judges had been serving as additional judges and will now continue their duties with full authority as judges of the High Court. Had a futuristic discussion with the Team @YMCRAP regarding state environmental challenges, especially concerning rivers. Thank you, @PremTaba bhai, for presenting a research book titled “Media Representation and Accessibility of the Puroiks”. I am thrilled to read his groundbreaking research work.

YMCR team met with the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) on Tuesday to talk about important environmental issues like water security and river protection. We discussed ways to protect water resources and keep our rivers and forests healthy.

Capital Police had the privilege of partnering with @YMCRAP today under the Police Ajin initiative for a community-driven cleanup of the Yogamso River at C-2 Sector, Itanagar. In this collective effort, 12.96 tons of garbage were removed from nearly a kilometer stretch of the river flowing alongside the colony. Alongside the cleanup, an engaging awareness session was conducted for local residents, emphasizing their crucial role in building a cleaner, greener Itanagar for the well-being of future generations. @PemaKhanduBJP @NatungMama @DgpPradesh
