@BoneJail There's like a dozen examples of this in Andor. There's a Tim, Jeff, Dave, Leo, Lonny, Clay, Edy, Clem, even Daedra is not uncommon. They're just spelled differently or abbreviated or given a flourish.

I think where Star Wars really lost its footing was when they stopped having people with normal guy names in the mix like "Luke", i think people would remember episode I more fondly if Qui-Gon Jinn's name was Steve Jinn and the sequels would be more lauded if Finn's name was Gary

@jbillinson If you look at the first opening credits George had in A New Hope while the movie was still being made, you'll realize that he did indeed have a lot of it planned out from the beginning.
