Presenting the Mahindra ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) No excess. No ornamentation. Just focussed capability. Every bar, every mount, every inch of clearance has a job to do. From airdrop readiness to mission-grade protection, a gun mount, complete underbody protection, tandem tyre carrier configuration, jerrycan holders, a windshield protector & a front winch ensuring enhanced survivability, versatility, and operational effectiveness across diverse terrains. Purpose-built for our security forces, & proud to serve them But to me, this is more than a specialised machine. This is what our DNA looks like… stripped to its essentials It’s a window into what sits at the heart of every Mahindra vehicle: resilience, adaptability, and the will to go anywhere…

@dmuthuk Closing of TASMAC in phased manner and opening of de-addiction centers is the winner imo. Women have seen both DMK and ADMK making money of it while men in their homes being addicted to it. Hoping TVK will reverse this.

In my view, performance of DMK government has been good on industrialisation and economic front. Never thought they would be pushed to third position. Very difficult to know what majority of people perceive. Even expert Psephologists get it wrong. Highest GDP growth in the country, rapid industrialisation across the state, especially South Tamil Nadu and ensuring we progress towards one trillion dollar economy in 2030 - are some of the significant achievements of DMK. Hope Vijay would continue to ensure Tamil Nadu's progress.

Another disturbing case of road rage was reported on Harlur Main Road, highlighting how quickly tempers can flare up on busy city streets. A couple on a two-wheeler got into a heated argument with an auto driver following a minor issue on the road. Despite the auto driver acknowledging his mistake and even apologizing, the situation continued to escalate. Eyewitnesses say that several bystanders and local residents stepped in, urging both parties to calm down and move on without further confrontation. However, the couple continued shouting at the driver, turning what could have been resolved in seconds into a tense and unnecessary scene.Thankfully, after a few minutes of chaos, the situation was eventually brought under control. With the intervention of locals, both sides cooled down and went their separate ways without any physical altercation. This incident is yet another reminder of how easily road rage can spiral out of control. In a city already dealing with heavy traffic and daily stress, losing your temper on the road only makes matters worse. Arguments, shouting, or aggression are never solutions they only increase the risk of accidents and harm. Staying calm, being patient, and showing a little empathy can go a long way in preventing such situations. No journey is worth risking your safety or someone else’s life over a moment of anger.Let’s make our roads safer — not just through better infrastructure, but through better behavior. #bangalore #bengaluru #roadrage #harlur @BlrCityPolice @blrcitytraffic @CPBlr @Jointcptraffic @alokkumar6994 @DgpKarnataka @KarnatakaCops @Lolita_TNIE @ChristinMP_

This was arguably the shot of the night. The entire PSL season has wrapped up, yet not a single player produced something like this. And the best part? It came from an uncapped Indian player.

Seconds From Disaster: Lorry Flips on Mysore–Bangalore Highway After Tyre Burst While we were driving on the Mysore–Bangalore highway, a lorry suddenly lost control after its front tyre burst and flipped right in front of the road. It all happened within seconds one moment everything was normal, and the next, it turned into a life-threatening situation. By sheer luck, the people driving on the road managed to escape without any injuries. It was a terrifying experience and a stark reminder of how unpredictable our roads can be. No matter how carefully you drive, some situations are simply beyond your control. This incident highlights the importance of staying alert at all times, maintaining a safe distance from heavy vehicles, and ensuring proper vehicle maintenance especially tyre condition, which can make all the difference between safety and disaster. Road safety is not just about following rules; it’s about being constantly aware and prepared for the unexpected. A single second can change everything. Stay cautious, stay alert, and most importantly, stay safe 🙏 #bangalore #bengaluru #mysuru #bangaloremysoreexpressway #accident

Western countries acquired land, cut trees & industrialised before the climate activists were born. Now when it’s India’s turn to build infrastructure, these guys have woken up. LOL

To Understand #TheGreatNicobarProject, watch Kunal Kamra's 22-minute video, "GoodBye Nicobar." The Great Nicobar Project will destroy not just 850,000 trees, but approximately 10 million. The government's sole aim is to benefit Adani.

Air India just received its 100th aircraft since Tata takeover. In 3 years, Tata has taken an airline with a fleet average age of 14 years and injected 100 new planes into it. That is one new aircraft every 11 days. The order book is staggering. 470 aircraft from Airbus. 220 from Boeing. Total: 690 planes on order — the largest fleet order in aviation history. Not by an American airline. Not by Emirates. By an Indian airline that was bankrupt 4 years ago. Air India's domestic market share has climbed from 8 percent to 15 percent. International routes from 10 Indian cities that had no direct long-haul service now have Air India nonstops. Revenue per seat-kilometre improved 34 percent. On-time performance crossed 85 percent from 60 percent. The Tata playbook is becoming a case study. Take a destroyed PSU brand. Inject capital. Fix operations. Order at massive scale to get aircraft pricing leverage. Then use the brand's international route rights — which took decades to accumulate — as the moat. The skeptics said Tata overpaid at 18,000 crore. Air India is now booking 15,000 crore in revenue per quarter. The entire acquisition cost is recovered in 5 quarters of revenue.

Bengaluru and Hosur should be planned and evolve together. They don’t compete with each other. Very clear specialisations. Bengaluru -> more knowledge intensive services. Hosur -> mid-high tech manufacturing. If only we had functional metropolitan governance.

Yesterday was one of the most hectic days of my life while travelling. It took us 18 hours to reach Munnar. We got stuck in Annamalai National Park for eight hours on a 10 km stretch. We were supposed to reach Munnar by 4 pm but arrived around 1:30 a.m. We almost ran out of fuel, there was no network in the national park, and our family was worried about us. As girls, we struggled to find a washroom for 8-10 hours. We all say that India is not using the full potential of its tourism, but do we have that kind of infrastructure? One long weekend and every tourist place gets packed.

@tgsk2000 @shettysandarsh @theurbanismguy Yes there is a rage, why are you people pooking your nose in internal karnataka matters and kannadigas capital, don't advise anything to us , you don't have any stake in that game , karnataka is huge , there are other priorities, North karnataka, coastal karnataka.

@shettysandarsh @theurbanismguy Tell me one large city in India which doesn't have this problem and we cannot control network effects of migration. The proposal is to solve the problem rather than throttling migration which no one can control

@tgsk2000 @theurbanismguy I disagree with your point. The problem with Bengaluru is over-migration,and 0.5 to 1 million people migrating from other states shows the inefficiency of other states in generating enough jobs. If you need an example, get the footage of Silkboard and KR Pura on 23rd April. 🤦

@shettysandarsh @theurbanismguy While this is true, Bengaluru is more than 40% of Karnataka SGDP and has per capita more than twice state per capita. The city's needs on infra, admin, governance are quite different from the rest of the state which is not being catered to now. It's being milked but not invested

This commercial LPG hike will not stay limited to businesses - it will hit every household. Hotels, restaurants, and small eateries will raise prices, making everyday food costlier and hitting the urban working class, daily wage earners, and small business owners the hardest. On Labour Day, this is Modi’s ‘gift’ to workers - higher costs, shrinking incomes, and deeper hardship. This is only the beginning; more hikes will follow, and the burden will keep shifting to citizens. This is the Modi model - mislead people during elections, and burden them after. #ModiFailedIndia #CommercialLPG

@svembu Captain Rose too. He faded away. What will define is not how the hero is getting introduced but how is going to hold the attention of the audience over the course. Imo, he hasn't proven he has the brains or the administration to deliver. All pointing to his party fading slowly.

At the security in Delhi airport. The security guy, likely from Odisha from his name, saw my attire and guessed I must be from Tamil Nadu and excitedly asked "Sir, Vijay Thalapathi win?" 🤓 Day before yesterday, a politically savvy farmer in my village, not a big movie fan, told me "Vijay is going to cause a surprise in our booth". He used to be a volunteer for Annamalai. As a Thuglak analysis said recently, the Vijay phenomenon in Tamil Nadu should not be dismissed as "movies" or "glamour" - a lot of people from various walks of life are pouring their hope for change on him. The reason exit polls should not be relied upon is that in a 3 party context, where the new party pulls voters from every side, we cannot know who will win. I still think either DMK or AIADMK will win, due to their far better ground level organization and money, but Vijay's political rise is remarkable, in such a short span of time.
