@orcdev I’ve been using Next.js + Postgres all this time. But for my most recent projects, chose Next.js + FastAPI. decided to make things purposely complicated just to learn how a real backend is done.

@kentcdodds @tannerlinsley Been using @cursor_ai for a while now. Tried Claude Code last week (in VS Code since I need a GUI), and honestly it felt better at handling bigger tasks compared to Cursor. Have you noticed this?

Ghostty was fun, but time for something else. I still love opencode, too but with CC plans dead on it… I’m feeling lost. Full GUI? T3 Code? Opencode GUI? Warp? Back to cursor? Try CC again? Raw Codex? My 🧠 hurts and I just need to keep shipping.

You’ve probably heard this before “teams usually take on the character of their captain”. That’s exactly what @OfficialSLC is missing right now. Shanaka is an “OK” captain, but he doesn’t really bring that strong presence or personality. And if you ask who could step in after him with real character, I honestly can’t name anyone.
