The grandpa you laughed at behind his back for letting you watch violent war movies as a kid, but who freaked out about the Disney show where the kid had 2 Dads... that guy was right.
There was evil in the war movie, but it was generally evil depicted AS EVIL in a great struggle between good and evil, and it trained the consciences of a generation to value things like...

Be wise, but watch a war movie with your kids today and help your American kid understand they were born on third base because a bunch of people died to get them three bases ahead.

Ubisoft is getting backlash over Anne Bonny in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake. In the original 2013 game, Anne Bonny had a bold outfit with cleavage that matched her tough pirate style, but in the remake her top is much more covered. They probably hired a consultant to adjust for modern audiences. Fans are angry because they say Ubisoft censored her look and only changed her clothes while leaving everyone else the same. If it’s not a big deal, why change it

The anti-alcohol stuff has become totally hysterical. It’s the worst and the gayest of the 90s anti-smoking propaganda all over again. Give up alcohol if you want but the stuff isn’t battery acid. A sip won’t send you to the hospital. A glass of wine ruined three days of your life? When did it become normal and acceptable for men to brag about their weak constitutions? Really weird.

One of the reasons the Woke Right/Woke Reich/Neo-Nazi/Halal Right has been able to get any traction at all is because of Leftists giving them cover by calling everyone to the Right of John McCain a Nazi.
It blurs the lines and obfuscates the truth. When people who *actually* praise Hitler and deny the Holocaust (or say it was good) get called Nazis they can honestly say that the words has been overused, and that the Left calls everyone Nazis, so the casual observer, if not familiar with the antics of that particular individual won't know the difference.
This is a major problem.

I'm 42 with 3 kids.
Last night I ate pizza & ice cream with them after we spent the day hiking & playing outside.
I eat sensibly 80% of the time, walk a lot & lift 4/5 days a week. I limit alcohol but don't obsess over having a couple drinks when I want with my wife.
I track nothing. Measure 0 food. Don't count calories or track sleep.
People MAJOR in the MINORS way too much.
-lift a few times a week.
-walk every chance you get.
-play outside with your kids a lot.
-eat sensibly (Whole Foods) 80% of the time.
Enjoy life & win.

Treating alcohol or sugar like it’ll kill them if they look at it. Tracking their sleep. Counting their steps. It’s possible to live a healthy life without being an obsessive, paranoid lunatic. You’re gonna die either way. In a few decades you’ll be just as dead as the rest of us, if not sooner. Relax a little and live your life while you still can.
