Hookup apps are gross and this woman is not well.

No, this is too harsh on your sex. Sex roles are a result of evolutionary optimisation. We, as a species, are the first ones who won the game of survival. The first ones who suspected that we won the game were the ancient Greeks. Thus, the first civilization. But then, the idea went forth. "Did we actually win it? Yes, it seems so.". And civilization started becoming a more widespread idea. Until it burst, it became ubiquitous, everyone was now convinced, we actually did it. Then, and only after then the big "doubting" arrived. Which included the sexual roles. Why do we need them, if we are no longer fighting for our survival? We don't. Ok, fuck them then. And this is how women changed their position. But it is still early days for them, everything looks like new and exciting one moment and a trap the next. We will have more ups and downs before women find their way in the post-survival epoch, but don't make them guilty of their naivete. You are just newbies.

Me also the problem is it's easier for a Doctor to make a living being an over educated pharmacist than healer. At least in the states. Some of the new docs have figured out that if you come to him 50lbs over weight and with high blood sugar you don't need Metformin or insulin. You need a low to no carbohydrate diet and mild exercise 99% of the time.
