@Ines80485372 @Innerdevcrypto Not necessarily mine either. I think this was a way for the committed members of the community to have a place they could live that could be built quickly

Business-opportunity I think the following will be a good business opportunity for people in crypto that have some savings and want to do something useful with their lives, set up an original business, while being busy creatively, so here you have the idea for free for anyone to set up: a company that buys abandoned farm-houses, fixes them up, and sells them as remote eco-properties to crypto-people that want to have it but are too lazy to build it themselves. not the super expensive bunker types for rich people, but way more accesible price wise here are the steps: 1: buy up remote abandoned farm house in a place that is easy with crypto-regulation or easy with crypto-taxes, many remote cheap properties in el salvador, panama, portugal, malta, paraguay, georgia, argentina, thailand, places like that. Even remote in switserland can be done, Singapore and Dubai obviously impossible. 2: fix up the house, put in own water, solar, battery, eco-materials etc 3: plant a forest garden using the book ¨creating a forest garden by martin crawford¨ ,or create a permaculture garden, or in cold climates use the book ¨a forest garden greenhouse¨. Buy some larger fruit-trees as well so owner does not have to wait 10 years to have produce. Build a vegetable garden as well, put in chickens, ducks, all of it, make it look the whole place is operational already, ready to move in 3: put in starlink, park a tesla model 3 in the garage that can charge with solar pannels and the tesla is transferred with the sale 4: put in water filter, some fuel reserves, wood reserve, a gun and back up small batteries etc, just useful things to have Now people will say, this is a lot of work? Yes, the first one you might have to do yourself, but with many eco-materials being cheap nowadays, and cheap solar and batteries from china, it can be done, just start with a small one very simple, live there yourself first while you build it up, until you find the right buyer, you can use all the knowledge for the next one and use the profit to invest and live in the next one while you build it out and sell for more profit. Rinse and repeat. In time hire a team of builders to do the re-building for you and slowly start re-modeling more properties and scale up. Will it make you money? Yes! You should see the offers i got from crypto-people to buy my eco-farm...really insane, 2x, 3x the value. They do not want to build it themselves, but they do want to have such a place since it is the ultimate security. I am actually posting this idea since someone stuck in Dubai these days offered me an insane amount, really insane, to immediately buy up my eco-farm, no questions asked. I said no of course, but it immediately made me write this post and share this idea I put my idea in grok, and it said: ¨Your model—systematically buying abandoned rural farmhouses (not luxury bunkers), doing accessible-price eco-renovations (solar, independent water, eco-materials), planting productive forest gardens or permaculture systems (explicitly drawing from books like Martin Crawford’s Creating a Forest Garden or cold-climate variants), then selling turn-key remote eco-properties—seems genuinely original in its packaged, repeatable form¨ So good luck to anyone who works this out. It can be done, with not even that much money, start small, maybe do the first one yourself. The person that does it and wants to sell their first eco-farm they build, i will help them and re-post their sale-ad for the place on this account 😉

@WithOrWithoutQ @Innerdevcrypto You would be amazed at the amount of bureaucracy you can encounter in Portugal with a project like this. Essentially, it became a question of what can you build legally in the easiest way that can come while you are still waiting to get permission to achieve your goals

@thecryptochase @Innerdevcrypto Cool idea but starting with mushrooms and a pool? Usually you get the restaurant and a house going so you have cash flow and then start selling plots. The restaurant and first house is make or break, costs usually $200-500k with serious additional human capital.

@WillManidis A few lounges that I’ve come to love (speaking from a poor Priority Pass owner only) - Tirana Albania (recently refurbished in 2024) and the half in main hall half in inner sanctum with some great over the top paintings in Addis Ababa

the predominate aesthetic expression of post lockdown america is the airport lounge. every new restaurant looks, feels, and serves the food of an airport lounge. homes are decorated like airport lounges, the entire visual environment of our great nation has become AMEX PLATINUM

@Jerematic79 Also they called me the day before the surgery and said the last minute third doctor on the team was not covered on my insurance plan so they would need to cancel or charge me 10k. I called the second doctor (myself) and she said she could go without doctor 3. Surgery proceeded

@Jerematic79 Absolutely! If I hadn’t advocated for myself, I would’ve had an ovary removed instead of just the small benign tumor inside just because “I was a woman over 40 who may not be having children”

My oncologist tried to stop my chemotherapy* treatment last week because of a one-page synopsis he had read regarding my recent MRI, which mentioned that one of my brain tumors had progressed. It turns out he had never actually looked at the MRI itself; and the specialist who wrote the synopsis had not actually compared the new images to my previous MRI from 2024. I was skeptical, as my symptoms had not progressed; so I asked my oncologist to show me a comparison of the two most recent MRIs, to demonstrate the growth. So, he brought them up on his screen and showed me a clear difference between image on the left and one on the right. "But the one on the left is the 2017 MRI," I said. "We both know the tumor has grown since then." The doctor was surprised, and said, "You're right. I'm not sure why the 2024 MRI isn't showing up." Anyway, we had to go to a different room and use a different computer to find last year's images. When my oncologist finally brought them up, he realized there was a clear REDUCTION in the size of my tumor, as well as a loss of contrast, indicating that the tumor was dying. So, the chemotherapy was working after all! Had I taken my doctor at his word, and stopped my chemotherapy, I would have soon needed an extremely risky brain surgery that would have changed my life forever. We are living through a crisis of competence in America — or is it in the world as a whole? It is absolutely essential that we remain vigilant and look out for our own health, because we apparently can no longer trust our doctors to do it for us. Remember to ask questions, get second opinions and, above all, don't just assume that your doctor is infallible. Now more than ever, your life is in your own hands.

🚨NEW per my @FoxBusiness colleague @EdwardLawrence: The #crypto executive order has officially been signed. Here are the details: 📌The Executive Order establishes the Presidential Working Group on Digital Asset Markets to strengthen U.S. leadership in digital finance. 📌The Working Group will be tasked with developing a Federal regulatory framework governing digital assets, including stablecoins, and evaluating the creation of a strategic national digital assets stockpile. 📌The Working Group will be chaired by the White House AI & Crypto Czar @DavidSacks and include the Secretary of the Treasury, the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the heads of other relevant departments and agencies. 📌The White House AI & Crypto Czar will engage leading experts in digital assets and digital markets to ensure that the actions of the Working Group are informed by expertise beyond the Federal Government. 📌The Executive Order directs departments and agencies with identifying and making recommendations to the Working Group on any regulations and other agency actions affecting the digital assets sector that should be rescinded or modified. 📌The Executive Order prohibits agencies from undertaking any action to establish, issue, or promote central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). 📌The Executive Order revokes the previous Administration’s Digital Assets Executive Order and the Treasury Department’s Framework for International Engagement on Digital Assets which suppressed innovation and undermined U.S. economic liberty and global leadership in digital finance.

DOGE should advocate for universal healthcare. It’s objectively cheaper than whatever we’re doing now, it removes the ludicrous tie to employment that chains would-be entrepreneurs to W-2 jobs, and it guarantees everyone a minimum standard of care

@levelsio I’ve found some of my best restaurants recently from YouTubers visiting cities. Most channels are not being sponsored by specific restaurants and you can see the dishes they are served. Also - I haven’t found the 4.8 star thing to be true. 4.1-4.4 yes
