@statsglobe And people in Australia laugh at London as if Melbourne and Sydney won't be much worse in a few years.

Right here, 125 years ago, our Australian democracy became real. In all that time, there is a lesson that has held true: Australia is always at our best, when we choose to lift people up - not shut them out. Because every time we have followed our national instinct for unity and fairness, we have been better for it. It was true on our Parliament's very first day. And we’ll carry it forward for the next 125 years.

@GreenTextRepost getting grey hair at 33 sounds kinda nuts but I hear it often. So fuck, we only get 10 good years of youth from our 20s and then immediately after hitting 30 you start going grey and losing hair huh? Pretty depressing honestly. Life is short

@NBA @Google Can't even post a tweet without plugging the sponsor. To me the NBA died when you cucked out with sponsors on the jerseys and courts. Generic bullshit is all the NBA is now good job Adam Silver you creature. Sure David Stern would be rolling in his grave

#BREAKING Four minutes of prolonged booing breaks out at the official Anzac Day Dawn Service in Melbourne as a “Welcome to Country” is delivered. This is a sacred day. There should be no room for political correctness.

Australian national security priorities ✅ $300 million dollars spent by @AusFedPolice chase down a war hero Ben Robert-Smith ❌ $0 to ensure that arson wouldn’t happen at oil refineries. ✅ Another 50,000 immigrants arriving this month to Australia ✅ Petrol rations @AlboMP government is an absolute disgrace

@FreedmFightr1 I wouldn't be so cynical. There has been double digit YoY growth in housing approvals across NSW, VIC and QLD. But, we do need to at least triple approvals for higher density housing.

Life in Canada is so depressing. I take home 57% of my wage after income tax, before sales taxes and other taxes. I make a wage in roughly the 95th percentile of incomes in my province, and if I don’t want to live in a shoebox, my wife needs to work rather than raise our two little kids. All to provide lavish benefits to the thousands and thousands of unproductive takers, who vote themselves an ever larger share of a shrinking economic pie. It’s bleak

@napost13 @Ausbobsmit @OMGTheMess Why? What is the point in turning Australia into another overcrowded nation like so many others?? What makes this place liveable is low population density.

In 2000, Australia’s population was 19 million. Housing was affordable, roads were clear, and hospitals were not overwhelmed. Patriotism was strong, and people were happy. A week’s work covered food, rent, mortgages, with money left over. Society was united. Why is mass immigration considered beneficial?

The hard pill you need to swallow is that the suburban middle class dad who has 3 kids, a 2014 Chevy Silverado, a pretty attractive wife, and mows the lawn right before watching Ohio State football every Saturday with some chili & a Busch Light, is actually more capable than you in nearly every area of life.
