So apparently there's a place called Big Texan Steak Ranch, Amarillo, Texas where they'll slap down a 4 and a half lbs (72 oz) slab of steak, a baked potato, some salad, dinner roll and shrimp and if you can eat it in an hour - it's free. I dunno, does that sheet of steak look good to you? Anyone know what cut it's supposed to be? For me, give me a couple of those smaller steaks he's got on the grill beside it. I'll take Ribeyes, or T-bone instead, any day. What say you?

Six years ago in California, sand was dumped in skate parks to make them unusable. Parks were closed with yellow caution tape, while others got arrested on the beach. The same people participating in NO KINGS BS, literally supported banning the outdoors.

I never knew this story. Jimi Hendrix did not just perform at Monterey Pop in 1967, he took over the night. He had already burned a guitar in London earlier that year, but this was the night America saw it. The Who had already smashed their gear. Hendrix raised the bar. He dropped to his knees and set his guitar on fire. He later called it a sacrifice to the music. Was this pure shock value or real showmanship?
