i just became a mod of x/LocalLLaMA. if you're running local models on your own hardware and want in, the community is open. pinned and highlighted on my profile. approving members starting today. drop your setup below and i'll get you in. 3060, 3090, 4090, 5090, AMD, whatever you're running. all welcome. if you're hitting issues with hermes agent, llama.cpp, model selection, configs, i'm here. let's make local AI accessible for everyone.

let me get you started in local AI and bring you to the edge. if you have a GPU or thinking about diving into the local LLM rabbit hole, first thing you do before any setup is join x/LocalLLaMA. this is the community that will help you at every step. post your issue and we will direct you, debug with you, and save you hours of work. once you're in, follow these three: @TheAhmadOsman the oracle. this is where you consume the latest edges in infrastructure and AI. if something dropped you hear it from him first. his content alone will keep you ahead of most. @0xsero one man army when it comes to model compression, novel quantization research, new tools and tricks that make your local setup better. you will learn, experiment, and discover things you didn't know existed. @Teknium maker of Hermes Agent, the agent i use every day from @NousResearch. from Teknium you don't just stay at the frontier, you get your hands on the tools before everyone else. this is where things are headed. if you follow me follow these three and join the community. you will be ahead of most people in this space. if you run into wrong configs, stuck debugging hardware, or can't get a model to load, post there so we can help. get started with local AI now. not only understand the stack but own your cognition. don't pay openai fees on top of giving them your prompts, your research, and your most valuable thinking to be monitored and metered. buy a GPU and build your own token factory.

The man who is spiritually aligned has already died to the world and therefore the world has no leverage over him. He doesn’t fear cancellation, he doesn’t fear social ostracization, and he doesn’t fear the mob. He fears God, and in doing so, he is liberated from everything else.

Im building something world changing I'm building the first OpenClaw AI agent company. Doing work for me 24/7 Right now 4 employees are in office (local models on 3 Mac Studios and DGX Spark) and 2 are outsourced (Opus 4.6 and Codex 5.3) The 4 local employees (Qwen 3.5 (x3) and Minimax2.5), my developers and researchers) work for me 24/7. They do not eat, they do not sleep, they do not complain, they do not require insurance, they do not sue me. All they cost me was an up front life time $24,000 contract (3 Mac Studios w/ 512gb memory and 4tb SSD. 1 loaned by Apple, and the DGX Spark) Not bad compared to the human candidates I interviewed that would have cost me $100,000 a year Henry, my Chief Strategy Officer outsourced from Anthropic, manages all of them. He's lucky. He doesn't have to work so hard with the local employees doing most of the heavy lifting. My senior developer from OpenAI is rather cheap, altho outsourced as well. While Anthropic is discouraging me from outsourcing their employee, OpenAI is encouraging it While I sleep tonight, they will be working. While I watch the Celtics dominate the NBA, they will be working. They will be scrolling X and Reddit, finding challenges to solve, and building software. Without any oversight at all. This is Alex Finn Global Enterprises. I will set up a website for the business so you can watch everyone work in real time. I'm confident nobody else in the world is building anything like this. A first of its kind autonomous, 24/7 work force Welcome to the future

“AI is powerful, but it’s dangerous too! AI can do a lot of bad stuff! I want to make sure people use it SAFELY!” “How?” “We spend a lot of time putting proper guardrails on AI to make it behave ethically” “Can’t I just use somebody else’s AI to get around that?” “We’ll work with the government to make sure your ability to access other models is safe, too” “So in practice, what does this look like - you direct the government to ban, kneecap or restrict your competitors to force a complete monopoly because only your models have proper ethics?” “Ya, pretty much”
Dustin@r0ck3t23

Dario Amodei just dismantled the biggest myth in the AI industry. Open source AI isn’t free. It never was. Amodei: “It’s not free. You have to run it on inference and someone has to make it fast on inference.” For decades, open source meant something real. It meant a teenager in a basement could download the same tools as a Fortune 500 company. Could read the code. Could modify it. Could build something that competed with the giants. That was genuine democratization. That actually happened. AI is different. Fundamentally. Physically. In ways the ideology hasn’t caught up to yet. Downloading the weights is the easy part. The part that actually costs something is turning the weights into a running system. Into responses. Into intelligence operating in real time at scale. That requires compute. Power. Infrastructure. The kind measured in billions of dollars and years of construction. Amodei: “These are big models. They’re hard to do inference on. Ultimately you have to host it on the cloud. The people who host it on the cloud do inference.” The open source debate was never about who owns the model. It was always about who owns the cloud. And Amodei goes further. When a competitor drops a new open model, he doesn’t ask whether it’s open or closed. He doesn’t care about the licensing. He doesn’t engage the ideology. Amodei: “I don’t think it mattered that DeepSeek is open source. I think I ask, is it a good model? Is it better than us at the things that matter? That’s the only thing that I care about.” That’s the ruthless clarity of someone actually trying to win. While the media debates licensing frameworks, Amodei is asking one question. Is it better. Everything else is a distraction. Amodei: “I don’t think open source works the same way in AI that it has worked in other areas. Here we can’t see inside the model.” This isn’t Linux. You can’t read it. You can’t fork it. You can’t understand it the way generations of developers understood the tools they inherited. You can download it. And then you need a data center to run it. The teenager in the basement who was supposed to be empowered by this revolution needs a billion dollars of infrastructure before the empowerment starts. The era of the basement coder rewriting civilization on a laptop is over. The future belongs to whoever commands the compute, owns the power grid, and can actually turn the intelligence on. Open weights without infrastructure isn’t democratization. It’s a promise the physics of the universe won’t let us keep.

Is not inevitable? You can go on to Upwork right now, search embedded AI. Countless people want to roll out AI systems in tandem with their cameras. Any business you walk into will be tracking how long you are there, how often you come, what you buy, what you wear (without your consent). Autonomous weapons were assumed. How else will robots operate? Leveraging all the IoT devices you’ve been buying over the years to make a surveillance mesh powered by AI. The pieces have been there.

For those of you defending the DoD vs. Anthropic, it's amazing how quickly you forgot how the DoD ran SARS-CoV-2 research, then laundered it over to Wuhan, then arranged for gain-of-function bioweapons to be inserted into the jabs, and then ran Operation Warp Speed to rapidly distribute the deadly jabs. And now you say the DoD won't use AI to build autonomous terminator killbots? Stop kidding yourself. Grow up.

@RealChrisLangan @disclosetv The US will expedite refugee status from those displaced by the attacks. We’ll absorb the costs internationally and domestically for both Israel and the US. Peace was never an option, even if it got to that point, something would have happened to tip the scales into the fight.

Has anyone considered whether America should be going to war for a nation (Israel) owned and operated by the international banksters whose family emblem is on the Israeli flag? These people see Iran as an international banking holdout which still has its own banking system and has therefore failed to bend the knee to them. That's why they're champing at the bit for Iranian regime-change. These banksters also own and operate the UN (the Global Occupation Government or GOG). The GOG funds the NGOs that have been flooding the US with crime-happy exclusively nonwhite (racially and religiously problematical) Third World migrants. These migrants have become a freeloading White-hating crime-happy plague of locusts on every formerly White Western nation. Yet they are never invited to Israel, just as they won't be invited to Ukraine. ;-) Baron Jacob Rothschild (RIP) is known in Israel as the "Great Benefactor". Israel and the Ziobanksters are joined at the hip. That's a deal-breaker, folks. Fighting wars for Israel makes no sense whatsoever until Israel behaves like an ally and demonstrates its good faith by at least absorbing its fair share of the African and Muslim migrants its bankster sugardaddies so generously import to the US, Canada, the EU, and Australia. That alone will prove that they're not implicated in the demographic conquest of America. Spilling American blood for the supporters of White Genocide doesn't compute. it's completely irrational from the viewpoint of the US majority, which means that those who back this tired and tedious routine are absolute idiots. Either Israel absorbs its fair share of Third World migrants, or it's not the ally it pretends to be and doesn't deserve our support This Ziobankster multi-culti charade is killing us, and we need to worry about ourselves for a change. Leave our young men and women out of this.

I can't see any way that we can prevent the remainder of human existence from being hell. I don't mean there is no way. I just don't see one yet. The only realistic way out is for millions of men to organize and take big risks. Both of those things appear very unlikely.
