A lower prescription count is a statistic. A parent able to cook dinner for their family is an outcome. A veteran able to sleep through the night is an outcome. For years, full agonist opioids have been treated as the villain. But no treatment should be judged by its reputation alone. It should be judged by whether it helps the right patient.
