My daughter was in the ER twice last month. She passed out at Ballet class, had blurred vision, headache, pressure in her eyes, pain in her spine. After testing, she’s fine just a bad virus. I saw so many non-English speaking people come and go, paying nothing. I paid $500 per visit and our insurance is denying the rest because apparently they don’t think it was an emergency so I’m being billed another $3,000! That’s $4,000 total! I want these freeloaders out of my country! And I want the insurance I pay for to actually work! 😤

When I see famous people, I never approach them. I would never approach my favorite bands or actors or politicians as a 'fan' or admirer.
What could I possibly say to Trent Reznor of NIN, to a Jaoquin Phoenix or a President that won't make me look or feel stupid afterwards?
While they may have an impact on my life in ways they may or may not know, I know they are just humans who put their pants on one leg at a time, took out the trash and walkjng the dog after playing MSG ,(famous Billy Joel story after playing it sold out 8 nights in a row).

It is what I worked hard for and dreamed of but you never foresee the downside. I’ve learned to be grateful and that fans respect the idea of family. This said, my wife observed that “I make people happy” when they see me. For a guy who grew up as an outcast that’s pretty cool.

@deesnider It has to be hard to live out in public when every time you turn around you get recognized. I understand the appreciation for the fans, but at some point doesn’t it just get to be too much? I don’t think I would have handled it well. That’s why I decided to not become famous. 😃
