@EUhobgoblin @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward But nobody has to risk their life. This is the point. It is illogical for anyone to press at the start and require to be saved
English

@thescruffykit @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward Because you, as an individual, would prefer that nobody dies. As would other individuals.
English

This is mostly just a reversal of the red-blue dunamic from the original. Pressing blue is the flood-maker.
Jason Boone@shadowe_wolfe
@TheCartoonLoon That's not even close to accurate.
English

@EUhobgoblin @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward Individually, it's:
Vote red: 0%
Vote blue: >0%
As a group, it's:
100% vote red
>50% vote blue
However, this isn't done by a group of people. It's done by individuals. So, as I said, why am I pressing a button that gives me a >0% chance of dying
English

@thescruffykit @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward Nobody dying is the best outcome. What are the ways to achieve that outcome? Can you list them?
English

@EUhobgoblin @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward Nobody, but as I said that doesn't matter. Why would you press buttons so that for a large portion of the game, billions of people will die. Why take that chance? Why are we jumping through hoops to give ourselves a good chance of surviving when we could just not do that?
English

@EUhobgoblin @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward omg, you don't get it do you? Voting blue is the only scenario in which someone can possibly die
English

@thescruffykit @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward Well some people would prefer that other people not die
And blue is a vote for that outcome
English

@EUhobgoblin @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward So, why would anyone press the blue button then? You have just admitted there is an impact if I press blue, whereas there is no impact if I press red
English

@thescruffykit @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward Yes if you selfishly ignore that what you do has an impact on others, red is the obvious choice.
English

@EUhobgoblin @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward Then think about it on an individual level - if I press red, I won't die. If I press blue, I may die
Therefor: Pressing blue: Something happens
Pressing red: nothing happens
English

@thescruffykit @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward You're conflating 0% chance of death for you and 0% chance of death for anyone.
The game in its simplest form is just
If blue majority: nothing happens
If red majority: blues die
This is undeniable
English

@EUhobgoblin @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward 0%, but that doesn't matter becaues you don't know who has pressed blue already. At no point in voting does voting red give you a >0% chance of death. The same cannot be said of blue
English

@thescruffykit @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward What's the chance of death if everyone votes blue, dumbass
English

@EUhobgoblin @Colgrave1322 @GazeWindward If everyone votes red then there is 0% chance of death for any individual. Once someone presses blue, then the chance of someone dying is >0, which is why blue starts it
English

@Colgrave1322 @thescruffykit @GazeWindward Death is only possible with a red majority and you claim blue "starts" anything?

English

@TrixyTrixter @EUhobgoblin @GazeWindward It doesn’t. If everyone presses red then the river doesnt flood at all. There is nobody to be saved until someone presses blue
English

@thescruffykit @EUhobgoblin @GazeWindward Actually the river ALWAYS floods. The blues Just refuse to get out/put on life vests unless they are majority.
English

@EUhobgoblin @GazeWindward No, the river never floods unless the first person presses the blue button
And the red button pressers are on a boat rather than reacting to something happening. They aren’t in any danger at all and don’t need saving by a life vest
English

@GazeWindward Says who?
This image is logically equivalent to the original.
English

@Esilaboora @Lex_555_ @MachDominus COULD be, why am I taking a risk on my life to maybe save some total retards who are too dumb to press red?
English

@thescruffykit @Lex_555_ @MachDominus Sure. But everyone could be a winner, including you, if you vote Blue.
Voting Red only makes sense if you cynically believe it would be the higher voted option, which it wasn’t.
Voting Blue minimizes risk to everybody without providing sustainable risk to yourself.
English

@ticktockpoptart @deepfrd @MachDominus There’s nothing about this that makes you a good person. If you vote blue, you’re a full blown retard. Getting a bunch of people onto a train track to maybe stop a train, while the red-pusher stand on the platform watching you risk your life for no reason

@thescruffykit @Mynajef_ don’t take your anger out on me. although I understand you’re probably pretty jealous, the united states has eclipsed you guys in every way, including language

@thescruffykit @Mynajef_ congratulations, you pointed out a mistake in a tweet that I spend a stupendous 4 seconds writing. Your Pulitzer prize will come in the mail shortly.

@markgoldbridge @dons_zachh Also "top 5 leagues" - Scotland were the 4th ranked league in Europe when Ferguson won the league with Aberdeen in 1983/84.
This was the season after he had won what was the second tier European trophy at the time in 1982/83, beating Real Madrid in the final.
