Nebraska has officially taken over Oklahoma City.
Sea of red EVERYWHERE.

@PerryJones35410 @RobinWashut You went back to watch that? Husker fan’s are seriously ridiculously the best

Nebraska will be the home bench on Thursday. So, Section 117 will be behind the Husker bench.

@SG68046 Hi @SG68046, thanks for the question! My intuition is 116/117 as the Huskers are the "home team" as the lower seed. If anyone would know, I feel @RobinWashut is the guy! - Hey Robin, the question: what sections are directly behind where Nebraska’s Team will sit on Thursday?

@tigers @DetroitRedWings Is that only for the full season plan or does monthly get you the two tickets as well?

A limited-time offer you don't want to miss!
Subscribe by Friday, March 13, and get two tickets to a 2026 Tigers home game. 🔗 atmlb.com/4bn2gv1

English

@tigers Are the tickets eligible for the home opener on April 3rd?
English

@ernest615 I can’t wait to see you in Detroit next week. Please please please: “Miss that girl.” I know you don’t play it live ever but it would make my night to hear it live!

@Lengjai03 @DeeMagicGurl @SouthwestAir This isn’t how business works. Too many competitors create margin pressure. Unions, fuel, regulation. There’s a long list of why they aren’t ever going to be a high margin business
English

People can afford $500-1000 phones , expensive clothing or expensive meals to but when it comes to their safety and flying they want pay the bare minimum. Airline company’s are working on low margins trying to get you from one place to another safely. Their operating margins should be in the top ten highest and not top ten lowest.

Instead of a CEO eating a hamburger, I’d like to watch the @southwestair CEO find a $39 flight.

@ArielEpstein Is this some AI Jon Rothstein of baseball take?

The NFL and NBA have been chasing international markets for years.
Meanwhile the WBC just packed a stadium in Tokyo for NINE INNINGS of Japan vs Korea — and nobody left early.
They brought Ohtani home. They brought Yamamoto home. They put the best Japanese players in MLB back in front of the fans who grew up watching them — and added Korea and Chinese Taipei to the same pool.
That’s how you actually build a global sport.
The NFL and NBA are still figuring out what baseball already solved.
Give baseball credit where credit is due.

@Travis_Sawchik In your last bullet: don't hurt your back with that gigantic reach of a conclusion
English

The legacy of Tony Clark leading the MLBPA:
*A hallowing out of baseball's middle class
*Increase in average salary ... but median pay stagnates
*60-65% players played at, or near, the minimum in recent seasons. (Most players never reach FA or late arb)
*Growing wealth gap between players. Kyle Tucker will make 77x the league minimum this season.
*MLB league revenue growth trailed NFL and NBA (due in part to competitive imbalance)

@kapkap42 @darrenrovell What’s the nfl’s annual revenue? We’re talking about 0.01% of it when you’re talking about selling for $3k or $6k. Dramatic much?
English

@throwaway247364 @darrenrovell The NFL's hospitality partner (On Location) holds most of the inventory that is resold for the Super Bowl, so yes the NFL definitely has an interest in the pricing and what the resale market does here.
English

@kapkap42 @darrenrovell They sold their tickets. You mean it’s not a pretty chart for scum bag ticket brokers?
GIF
English

@darrenrovell Prices have indeed stabilized since this morning...but it's still not a very pretty chart for the NFL!

English

@TigsTown @stevelozon Here’s how bad your belief of $320m revenue figure is: 81 home games. Total attendance of 2.4m at the gate. If the Tigers got zero revenue from anything else but each ticket + concession was worth $132 a piece… you get to $320m in revenue. No parking or tv or sponsorships
English

@stevelozon Forbes has no incentive to cook the books and they aren't taking data from the Tigers to create the values. The information may not be perfect but it's not intentionally misleading.
English

According to Forbes, the #Tigers made $320M in revenue last year. Only 5 teams made less, two of whom played in Triple-A stadiums in 2025.
The Dodgers meanwhile receive $332M annually, just from their local TV contract.
Because of the MSG/FanDuel mess, the #Tigers don't even have a local TV contract at the moment.
I get that the Dodgers have the flexibility to spend, but when they have a guaranteed annual revenue stream just from local TV that is worth more than half a dozen teams make in total... we're going to have a VERY difficult time creating competitive balance.
And in a fixed system that controls so much, you can't have THIS much disparity in finances between clubs.
English

@ankurnagpal You can't re buy immediately without being wash sale no?
English

@goodlifebullys @Sean_Callahan The same writers that have picked them 9-3 the last 15 years? Why give their prediction any merit?
