This New York Times op-ed about free buses mentions Kansas City. An interesting choice. First, their transit union said free buses led to more violence against drivers. Second, they're reinstating fares in June.

But the major manufacturers had no real good ideas when it came to the smart home so they slapped lame features like changing the temperature of the fridge because they could and called it Smart. However, now that AI is here. There's massive opportunities for an interconnected kitchen to provide real value... With robots.

@levelsio One of the ways you can try to scale simulations like this is doing server side area of interest culling. This complicates things substantially but can mitigate transmitting all position data to all players. You would need to reduce the density of entities to have this help

@sometherapist @CaitPsych This may seem slightly pedantic, but Scout troops are either boy or girl troops. They can have the same chartered organization but they have their own separate leadership. The rank requirements and badge requirements for all scouts are the same.

@CaitPsych FWIW, in our area, Boy Scouts is now just “scouts.” It’s co-ed and they don’t do many of the traditional activities.
