I’d argue the states should either ban abortion or legalize murder. Seems an easy decision.

Yes. Tafoya has stated clearly: “I am a pro-choice Republican. I believe women can make their own decisions.” 
That said, her position has some limits. She supports abortion access up to 12 weeks of pregnancy, argues the issue should be left to states rather than the federal government, and says she would vote against using government money for abortion. 
This has become a notable friction point as she runs for the U.S. Senate seat in Minnesota as a Republican. Some GOP activists have suggested she may need to “define herself as functionally pro-life” to win the endorsement of grassroots Republicans.
