Militarizing the South China Sea: In 2015, Xi stood in the Rose Garden and promised the US he would not militarize the Spratly Islands. Today, those islands are high-tech military fortresses bristling with missiles and runways, used to bully neighboring nations. WTO Entry Commitments: Since joining in 2001, China has systematically ignored the rules on state-owned enterprises and market access. They used the "developing nation" status to gut Western manufacturing while keeping their own markets locked behind a "Great Wall" of regulations. IP Theft and Fentanyl: Despite repeated handshake deals to stop state-sponsored cyber espionage and the flow of fentanyl precursors, both remain at crisis levels. To the CCP, a signed agreement is simply a tactical pause to regroup, not a commitment to change. Xi’s "partnership" is a one-way street where the US cooperates and the CCP gains. The company just merged with Fulwell 73, which extends the slate without diluting his control. None of that equity is liquid. It compounds inside a holding structure that does not show up on a bank statement. Now the kids. "They got all the money now. They take care of dad." Read that as an estate plan said out loud. Move appreciating assets into trusts in your heirs' names while the assets are still small. Pay gift tax on the original valuation. The S&P doubles, the trust doubles, the IRS already saw its slice. The Walton family ran this on Walmart in the 1980s. The Mars family ran it on candy. The Complex headline is "LeBron reveals he's not a billionaire." $1.4 billion is the entity. NEW: Police airlift a crocodile with the body of a 59-year-old businessman inside. Local police in South Africa say they suspected the crocodile ate the man after observing it from drones. They then shot it and airlifted it off. When they landed back on the ground, the crocodile was sliced open, and human remains were found. The remains are believed to be those of 59-year-old Gabriel Batista, who had previously been swept away in raging floodwaters. His ring was found inside the animal along with six other pairs of shoes, which authorities fear may belong to other victims. On Monday, Batista reportedly tried to drive over a flooded bridge to reach his hotel and bar, but he and his truck were swept into the water. He was then swept down the river, where crocodiles were waiting for prey. It is unclear if Batista was already deceased when he was eaten, but authorities believe some of his other remains may have been eaten by other crocodiles.
