@hellomoe123 @sharrond62 Given the number of women vs trans there should be none…but that doesn’t suit you does it? All right-minded people should be sympathetic to trans people BUT equally, all right-minded people should be sympathetic to the rights of women whose genetic make-up is different.

These 29 trans athletes have won major competitions or titles - Outsports. And guess what every single one of them is male stealing from females … one way street! Women & girls lose out, every time, over & over again. outsports.com/2024/12/6/2294…

Nearly 9 years later and not a single person has been put on trial for killing 72 people at Grenfell. Justice is only for shoplifters and protestors, mass murderers walk free so long as they are rich.

@evanzacapa @aqueenofmagic Poor analysis bloated - wrong overrated - by whom? Had you ever seen him you would realise how talented he was as a performer let alone writer mustachioed - yes rock star - yes young Sid - he was who would have none of it - he had no choice! @aqueenofmagic How refreshing. Unctuous praise for the bloated, overrated, mustachioed rock star. Belittling young Sid, who would have none of it. Sums up 1977 rather nicely, doesn’t it?

A Queen Of Magic@aqueenofmagic·
In 1977, London’s studio scene briefly became the stage for one of rock’s sharpest culture clashes. Queen—meticulous, theatrical, and already global—were recording at Wessex Sound Studios when members of the Sex Pistols, avatars of punk’s scorched-earth ethos, crossed paths with them. What followed wasn’t a musical exchange. It was a lesson in boundaries. The Provocation Accounts from those present agree on the setup if not every word. Sid Vicious wandered into Queen’s workspace and mocked Freddie Mercury’s appearance—particularly his ballet shoes and polished demeanor—sneering at the idea of “ballet to the masses.” The jab was calculated: punk posture versus operatic ambition. Freddie didn’t rise to the insult with anger. He deflated it. “Mr. Ferocious” Freddie’s response—reported consistently across biographies and interviews—was devastatingly polite: “Oh yes, Mr. Ferocious, dear.” By rechristening “Sid Vicious” as “Stanley Ferocious,” Freddie punctured the punk persona in a single stroke. The room laughed. The power dynamic flipped. What Actually Happened Next Here’s where myth often outruns evidence. Some retellings claim Freddie physically threw Vicious out. More reliable accounts describe Freddie ordering him out and having him escorted when the disruption continued. The point stands either way: Sid was removed, quickly and decisively. The confrontation ended on Freddie’s terms. Why It Mattered This wasn’t snobbery versus rebellion; it was respect for the room. Queen were deep into work that would become News of the World, crafting songs like We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions—music built with precision and intent. Punk’s ethos prized disruption. Freddie prized craft. He didn’t reject punk; he rejected contempt for the work and the people making it. After the Smoke Cleared The Sex Pistols’ implosion came swiftly. Queen’s ascent did not. Within eight years, Freddie would command the world at Live Aid, cementing a legacy rooted in preparation, fearlessness, and absolute control of the stage. The “Stanley Ferocious” moment endures because it reveals something essential about Freddie Mercury: flamboyance was never fragility. Elegance never meant submission. Mock the shoes if you want. Just don’t mistake them for weakness.

I can’t get over how Zack Polanski believes this is how the working class lives. It’s not 1982, nobody lives like this. This is how rich people fetishise of a faux working class aesthetic. Truly embarrassing.

🗣️ “We are needed in the PL: No flares, tifos, or megaphones. No light shows, no drums. No Love Islanders pitch side. No orchestrated nonsense. Instead, just a raw, unfiltered, hostile atmosphere in a ground where all 4 stands are within touching distance of the pitch.” A Millwall fan’s views on their club. Do you agree?

@AnthonyM91 @FTBLsection Totally agree…however he was exceptional in a game that was already pretty incredible; she was NOT in a game that was NOT. If anyone doubts it look back at videos of her and the standard of the game at that time - very weak

@FTBLsection When did say she was as good as prime Rooney? What she was comparing herself was that she “burst” into the game and scored goals at 16 and 17 like he did. I don’t particularly like her, but come on. Let’s not make out it’s something when it’s not 🤦🏻‍♂️

@Floxybby @FTBLsection She is most definitely trying to compare herself to Rooney and given the standard of football bore no comparison and the state of the game was so radically different she might as well compare herself to Winston Churchill

@FTBLsection To be fair to Eni Aluko, she isn't necessarily saying she was as good as Rooney in a vacuum, but rather drawing a parallel between their career trajectories as teenage prodigies.
