@TheAhmadOsman Thanks. I ended up getting a monoprice cable and it’s working. I thought it was strange that they included a 115v power cable in the box!

@chrisfralic Seems surprising he didn’t remove the dealer license plate holder.

@MikeKulick @onchainbee @stoopinbox It is indeed sad! Lots of people responded to the email which was heartwarming. I wish I had the time it needs to maintain and build it into a sustainable product.
English

@onchainbee @stoopinbox @timraybould Yeah they sent out an email last week. It was in my spam folder but it's legit, sadly.
English

@stoopinbox @timraybould
Hello, it seems stoop-inbox has stopped working.
Please announce officially if this won’t be supported anymore.
It was great app btw.
Would still love to see it maintained. (happy to even pay 3x current price for pro version) 🙏

@levelsio I think it listens much more precisely to what you tell it to do. Within that constraint, it’s super smart. Takes less liberty to roam where it thinks might be helpful, so can’t just nudge it in the right direction like Claude.

@hamids @vladtenev Thank you for this! Had been redeeming for balance credit and did not notice.
English

I finally just got my Robinhood Gold card, and my immediate reaction is MAJOR disappointment (cc @vladtenev)...
So Robinhood advertises 3% cash back.
But during card activation and auto-pay setup, it asked me if I wanted to auto-deduct my points from my balance. I almost said yes - because why wouldn't I want my balance to be reduced by 3%? But I stopped because there was this fine print that was barely legible and it said "points will be redeemed at 0.7 cents per point" - I immediately thought "points?" what's it talking about. I thought this was a cash-back card - not a points card...
Then I noticed the few charges I had on the card had given me 3 points per $1 of charge (not 3%).
So if I redeem 3 points for 0.7 cents each, that equals to 2.1 cents or 2.1% cash back (or deduction) from my balance. Not the 3% advertised.
WHAT!?
@RobinhoodApp how's this 3% cash back!?

@joshm @diabrowser @browsercompany If this pivot to start over proves to be the right decision, it will be a fascinating case study. That at least must be motivating. Good luck!
English

A modern URL bar (in @diabrowser):
• Page Title not "/2025/12/seo-spam" gibberish
• Space on both sides of "/" for readability
• Hover to reveal & edit URL
• Emphasize domain for trust+security
Dia isn't just AI. It's refined browser basics too, @browsercompany style.

We laid out our approach to AI yesterday and I'd love feedback and suggestions. In short:
1) Free, private chat via duck.ai, no account to create.
2) Concise answers in search results when relevant.
3) Easy to opt out of all of it.
DuckDuckGo@DuckDuckGo
Our approach to AI is to provide private, useful, and optional AI features – including chat and search instant answers – to people who want the productivity benefits of AI without the privacy risks. Don't want to use AI? No problem, we've made it optional by design. (1/6)

@levelsio This was happening to me. Changing operation mode to access point (from router mode) fixed it. I think was crapping out every time isp assigned a new IP, but that was just a theory.
English

I got this Deco WiFi mesh set up for the house
It works for a few days then randomly shit just starts cutting out and goes down
Is it a shit product? Or what do I do?
3 concrete floors and need WiFi everywhere, I guess wiring the mesh extenders w/ LAN is the only way? Now they extend the mesh WiFi signal through the house by extender to extender

English

We just added o3-mini to Duck.ai (DuckDuckGo's private AI chat service where you can chat with popular models for free). It's pretty great, you should check it out -- no account needed!
English

@SeanBlanda Still too much cognitive load for humans. But not for AI!
English

@gruber Does have a much better hand feel than the 14 Pro (lighter and more smooth) and is noticeably faster. WiFi 7 also a notable improvement if you happen to have a new router.
English

@evan_van_ness You deserve a double sided Scooby snack for this one.
English

@mgsiegler And interestingly, if you held Twitter stock, you got paid out right when Meta was around $90. That was lucky. #thankselon
