@BoringBiz_ It’s what happens when jobs pay like shit. Men get cucked trying to provide like they have for thousands of years. And the money you do make gets taken in taxes so we can pay for others healthcare and housing, while making it unaffordable for working people. People check out.

Something is clearly broken in the psyche of Gen Z and young millennials, particularly for men They are checking out of society (school, employment) at the highest rates in history What is going on?

@GoodmanHoops 1. It’s not surprising, Ed Cooley has never been a big time coach 2. Providence was never up to begin with, English has them in a similar spot as Cooley left it.

Ed Cooley and Georgetown will play at Providence tomorrow. The Hoyas enter the game 1-7 in Big East, the Friars are 2-6 in league play. Really Surprising that 1) Ed Cooley hasn't been able to get Georgetown flipped and 2) Providence program has fallen so fast under Kim English.

@umichwolverine1 Yeah he was awful. Never lived up the hype. The 2 guys behind him were younger and way more impressive, but regardless upgrades needed there

@TedHZhang @standuquesne This is true in life as well. The most successful have always been completely dialed in and have put all their energy into a single thing. CEOs, military leaders, etc.

@umichwolverine1 Not bad. But like Dilly I think he’s a weird fit. He’s an air guy and a guy who has his roots in the south mainly. But he can coach offense and QBs. Not saying it can’t work but it’s not that great fit you look for

@Castellani2014 Just an awful take, firstly this hire didn’t come with a ton of hype. People called it a solid and decent hire. Which it was and he improved their offense from last year. They were flawed in lots of areas but he did a ok job considering

@MichiganPodcast Issue being he’s an Arizona guy, yes he’s coached at Auburn, Oregon, Memphis, etc but feels like a strange fit. Not that it can’t work but you ideally want someone who understand B1G and Midwest landscape.

Kenny Dillingham has struggled to get resources at ASU (just lost his QB for it). And reminds me some of Dusty May. Like Dusty his breakthrough season was year prior, and then next year had to learn to navigate expectations and a choppy season. Good prep for a bigger job.

@SYRmotsag That’s how it works man, if you’re a good coach you can kill and man and they will help you hide the body. If you’re not they wont, simple as that. Goes for any program in the country

Michigans sole responsibility once they knew their was an allegation of Sexual Misconduct against Sherrone Moore should have been to protect the employee and university. They did neither. They should have suspended Sherrone Moore with pay immeadiately until the investigation was over. Instead they did nothing. If he beat OSU and made the playoffs he would still be coach today and the boss of an employee he was commiting sexual misconduct with.

@umichwolverine1 @woodwardsports You have to understand this new generation tho. They’re just like normal people, they wants ig followers and tiktok followers more than they want to win. That’s just all players in all sports but I’m with you im the same way.

@umichwolverine1 He had tightrope surgery. Look at Bowers in 2023. Only missed 4 games. Back in 5 weeks. It can happen that is not a major surgery like a knee issue. It’s fairly routine.

Also, if anyone thought Haynes was going to come back this season I have ocean front property to sell you in Iowa. You don’t have foot surgery and comeback a month later playing a position where your feet are crucial. It’s simply not possible

Only thing that frustrated me last night was why we couldn’t throw the ball. Their defense sucked at defending the pass all year and Bryce had been getting better. He struggled and we just didn’t execute

@TedHZhang I do believe bigger picture we are beginning an era where we will have accomplished everything there is needed to accomplish for humans on earth. Eventually money will have no value. Resources finite. It’s something we can’t comprehend.

Here we are starting to see job displacement already happening. I would imagine it only accelerates from here. At the same time, robotics will continue to be a big theme from humanoid generalized assistants to warehouse and logistics. One big concern is that this in the short to mid-term widens the divide of the rich and poor. What do you think happens when the people who lost their jobs sees the heads of the companies stack billions and billions more to their net worth while they are barely scraping by. Maybe they turned towards socialism which we are seeing emerge as a theme in cities like NYC. @Peter_Atwater

AMAZON PLANS TO REPLACE 600,000 US WORKERS WITH ROBOTS Amazon aims to replace over 600,000 U.S. jobs by 2033 through automation, even as it expects to double product sales. Its robotics team targets 75% of operations, potentially eliminating 160,000 roles by 2027. The shift could save $12.6B from 2025–2027 and about $0.30 per item in warehouse and delivery costs.
