Can’t say I hate the Giants schedule at all. See a clear opportunity to get off to a solid start and they have a bye right in the middle of the season. Harbaugh will have em ready to roll

@mookiealexander Nobody asked for anything these leagues are doing with their TV deals. I will not pay for anything. Merch, tix, streaming platforms. They can kick rocks. I have been a sports junkie for 45 yrs now. But I'd willingly stop watching all sports for a couple yrs if we all did.

Pouring one out for Scott Hanson on NFL RedZone when the weekly Sunday windows are just four early games and two late games as the NFL increases its standalone game inventory to 140 by 2028.

@VarsityAces They need to develop a better system for recruiting and training lax officials. The current model is ineffective.

#NJSIAA Tony Maselli (COO) notes the declining number of field hockey officials. Says its becoming a concern. Same for boys lacrosse. Said number of officials in boys lax is down 4 percent. Says soccer also on the radar.

@OzzyNFL Why wouldnt the Giants host during a year when they have 9 home games? Now season ticket holders will only have 7 home games next year.

As mentioned a couple months ago, the Seahawks and Giants are now guaranteed to host an international game in 2028. Beginning in 2022, all 32 teams are required to host at least one international game every eight years. SEA and NYG are now the only NFC teams yet to do so.

My annual plea to put the phone away and to just enjoy the NFL Draft. I'm anti pick tipping, and it's got nothing to do with my employers. Hear me out!

The Dex contract is going to be fascinating. Chris signed for $31.75m two years ago, in 2024 the highest paid DE was (I think) Nick Bosa at $34m per year. Now Anderson is at $50/year. Have to think Dex cracks $40m now right?

Dexter Lawrence was a great Giant. A dominant nose tackle beyond compare. Advanced stats you’ll see don’t paint an accurate reality. Went from a borderline DPOY to a Pro Bowl Caliber player last season. Giants got good value. Didn’t want to pay Dex. Will BJ Hill be released?

Dexter Lawrence thought after latest report. I’ve loved Dex, but this is not the time to be Anti-Giants as a new era under Harbaugh begins. 2 years left on a deal, we’re not handing you over because you are a pouting baby.

The #Giants’ situation with All-Pro DT Dexter Lawrence is not in a good place and has not been for a while. While money is a big part of it, another element is that Lawrence has seen many players leave the organization over the years. He’s stayed quiet, been a good soldier, and tried to be a team guy. So when it became clear last year that he had outplayed his contract and it was time for a new deal, the organization not taking it so seriously felt like a slap in the face. That has continued this offseason. In the words of one source: “He understands what those players who were shown the door by the Giants felt.”

This could also just be posturing from Dex agent to “squeeze” the Giants for the final bit whether it’s money or incentives stuff or bonus and so on. I’ll be digging around on Dex. Last I checked he wanted to be here and Harbaugh wanted him here. I mean shit a few hours ago Schoen said they had productive conversations with him and his agent.
