@tmwsiy17
I will NEVER forget the pols, doctors, unions, educators and public health officials that refused to think critically and kept our kids out of school.

This deal will be a win for IRGC. They've shown they can impact the straight. Trump loves saying we have the greatest military and no ships got by the blockade. Well, we didn't let any ships out either, so win for Iran. This looks bad and only emboldens Iran and its proxies. We're worse off than having done nothing. Unless this is just to release pressure for mid-terms and then revisit / finish the job after midterms or CIA is planning to stoke the revolution. What an optics disaster...

@BarakRavid What a waste of energy, capital and treasure. We just emboldened Iran, unless the strategy is to end this now until midterms and then end the regime afterwards because they are not complying..

🚨A regional source said all the Arab and Muslim leaders on the call with Trump on Saturday urged him to go ahead with the deal to end the war and de-escalate the situation in the region
🚨"The message from everyone was - please stop the war for the benefit of the whole region", the source said
🚨According to the regional source the negotiations are moving well and the mediators hope to conclude the one-page framework agreement tomorrow and announce it
🚨Then, the mediators want to initiate negotiations on a detailed agreement a few days later, the regional source said

@BenforOregon Thank you for your service and ongoing commitments. You will be missed.

I have called and conceded my race. I called Sonya and wished her the best of luck.
Our county is a bellwether of what moderate politics looks like. The pendulum swings every four years, and we've seen Commissioners wash in and out and serve non-concurerent terms. So I'm not surprised by the pendulum swinging again. It doesn't negate the work I've done and will continue to do on homeless issues and tolls, and on keeping our community affordable. It's unfortunate that the campaign wasn't as much about ideas as it could have been. Voters deserved better than my opponent's negative campaign based on issues not rooted in truth. But I accept the outcome, will work hard in other ways to serve because the work isn't done, and I know from great Oregon leaders who lost elections and came back to do more, like Dennis Richardson, that one election cycle doesn't change the trajectory of our lives; it changes the vehicle in which we deliver outcomes for our neighbors. I know I will have left Clackamas far better than I found it, and that is the goal of public service. Thank you so much to all my supporters, volunteers, my fellow commissioners, staff, and residents of Clackamas County.

@WestLinnTidings The lead is 3.6 percent and her lead shrunk with each drop (started at 4.4% at 8pm). Hopefully a bunch of Ben ballots got dropped off yesterday.

In the closest race of the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners contests, Sonya Fischer leads incumbent Ben West by 4% with about 75% of Clackamas County votes having been tabulated.

F' all the brain dead Clackamas voters that are f'n sheep that vote for whoever their dear leaders tell them to or all the lazy voters that couldn't take the time to drop a piece of paper in the mail or in a collection box. Jeez. Thanks for nothing guys. To @BenforOregon thank you for your leadership and excellence. You will be missed dearly.

@Ryanfspack well, she was right about spirit airlines 🤣🤣🤣

Well the next month (may - june) will be telling. Supposedly a month of announcements. We'll see if these announcements translate into real significant adoption and exponential snapshot growth by the end of the year, which is ultimately what is needed. It sounds different this time, but we will see one way or another.

If this “25M” turns out to be the same type of narrative as the “50M in the pipeline,” then expect the same result.
People keep reacting to headlines and buzzwords without asking the real question:
How does it translate into actual network demand and sustained buying pressure for $DAG?
So far, nothing has changed structurally on the chart.
Give it the rest of the month and I wouldn’t be surprised to see $DAG hitting new lows again.
Hype can create candles.
Only real demand changes trends.

@JesseBWatters They'll just dump it into the straight and/or burn it...

This is one of the dumbest most nefarious and unconstitutional laws that will never ever be enforced. What a joke but a scary joke.

BREAKING: The People's Republic of Washington has now officially banned "aimless driving" punishable by a $1000 fine. No more "joyriding" or "clearing your head" or "cruising around." You must have a "lawful destination" to be on the roads in Washington. Communism at its finest on display. Next up: A ban on "aimless walking, hiking or breathing."

🚨 ECOCIDE UNLEASHED: Iran’s Mullah Regime Turns the Persian Gulf into a Toxic Graveyard – Scorched-Sea Desperation as Their Empire Collapses! 🚨
In the shadow of Kharg Island—strategic jugular of 90% of Iran’s crude exports—Copernicus Sentinel and Soar Atlas satellites have captured the unthinkable: vast oil slicks spanning dozens of square kilometers, drifting south from the terminal like a man-made plague.
This is no mere spill. Amid U.S. naval pressure, Strait of Hormuz disruptions, and storage tanks pushed to the brink (already flagged as critically full in April analyses), the regime is accused of faking tanker transfers while unleashing raw crude directly into the sea. A calculated act of environmental terrorism—echoing Saddam Hussein’s 1991 Kuwaiti oil inferno but now targeting one of Earth’s most fragile, semi-enclosed marine ecosystems.
The Persian Gulf is no ordinary body of water. It cradles ancient coral reefs, endangered dugongs, sea turtles, and fisheries that feed millions. Its shallow, slow-flushing waters amplify every drop of poison into generational catastrophe: fouled desalination plants, decimated biodiversity, and a toxic legacy for the very cradle of Persian civilization.
Contrast this barbarism with Persia’s true heritage: Cyrus the Great’s empire championed sustainable innovation—qanats channeling life through deserts, a stewardship of land and sea that built enduring prosperity. Today’s theocrats betray every principle of that legacy, weaponizing nature itself in a final, pathetic tantrum to mask economic strangulation and regime failure.
Where is the global green chorus now? The same voices that mobilized for every Western industrial mishap fall silent when the real ecocide wears a turban. Hypocrisy, meet history.
The Iranian people—proud heirs of an enlightened past—deserve restoration, not ruin. A return to sovereignty, prosperity, and genuine environmental guardianship is within reach.
The world is watching this real-time atrocity. The regime’s days of poisoning land, sea, and future are numbered.

This looks like a little beginner MTB trail. So kid friendly means you should have the right bikes and your kids should know how to use the brakes (pedal brakes are not a thing on MTB trails). At 3 seconds, up off to the left is a moderately steep rock garden dropping into the main trail. Also, I think the 2nd kid thought the berm was a gap jump and tried to send it. He almost looked like he knew how to eject 🤣🤣🤣. This should be FridayFail submission...

This father took his two boys bike riding. The trail they were on said kid friendly.
But as you can see, chaos erupted. As the dad was tending to his one son who had already crashed, his other son was coming down the trail. He screamed several times for him to hit his brakes but his son flew by him and kept going and wiped out. When the dad got to him, he appeared to be okay.
Just to be safe, he took his boys to go get checked out.
Luckily no broken bones, internal bleeding or permanent damage outside of a few cuts bruises and scrapes.
The dad said he wishes he would have just reached back and grabbed him as he came down but he was busy tending to his other son. It could have been much worse.
Many people are blaming the dad saying he was irresponsible and that he should have checked the trail out before they rode down it.
Do you think the father is to blame? Do you think it’s just boys being boys, they’re tough and that’s life? Or, do you think the parks and recreation department is to blame for labeling the bike path as a kid’s path?
