@KevinAFischer If I develop an ai, but unfortunately it over-fits and the input keyword only returns the exact same image as the closest one in the dataset, can this still be used for commercial purposes.

@GRDecter OpenAI was created as an open source (which is why I named it “Open” AI), non-profit company to serve as a counterweight to Google, but now it has become a closed source, maximum-profit company effectively controlled by Microsoft. Not what I intended at all.

LLMs are still making sh*t up.
That's fine if you use them as writing assistants.
Not good as question answerers, search engines, etc.
RLHF merely mitigates the most frequent mistakes without actually fixing the problem.

the success of chatgpt has lead to investors thinking RLHF is magic (to some extent it is), but boy they are going to be disappointed when their portfolios realize its limitations
