@onsad V Čechách jsou všichni v práci 9-17. Obchody jsou otevřené 9-17. Takže to všichni honí o polední pauze. A zbytek času to dodání důchodci, jinak by přes den nechodil nikdo.

Hey @mattpocockuk, the /grill-me skill is unbelievably effective relative to the actual prompt length 🤯Essentially the single sentence makes the agent do what usually needs page long skill. Kudos!

@eigenrobot I think you're missing subtle difference - Europe don't see US=Trump. We don't want to deal with Trump, because he's not a dependable partner. We do want to deal with US in the long term because they are.

trump has been gratuitously awful (although yes very occasionally frankly brutally correct) to our allies, which net is a shame, and now large masses of europe hate our guts this sucks but also i mean here we are. what's optimal policy going forward x.com/i/status/20336…
KinisiOktoAsterion@KinisiOkto

@eigenrobot The lesson is that if your elect a leader who: - insults allies several times for over a year, - claims the alliance is a burden for USA, - riducules effort and victims from allied states - threatens to annex two allies land - claims Putin is a good friend then you loose allies

i think the main lesson here is that in a war with china the us can expect zero (0) help from europe and we should probably plan accordingly and adjust our asset placement to reflect europe's go-forward value to us

Allies Push Back On Trump’s Demand They Send Warships To Strait Of Hormuz Germany on Monday flatly rejected Trump's demand that NATO allies send naval vessels to help protect shipping in this strategic waterway. Back to updating live: twz.com/news-features/…

@dayonefoundry What I mean with "I don't want to do tourist stuff I want the local experience" for Prague (where I understand it): Skip "trdelník", get proper "zákusek". Skip russian "babushky", buy a beer glass. Skip fake green "absinth" try "czech rum" or "becherovka"

Dear "I don't want to do tourist stuff I want the local experience" people. The local experience is going to a 9-5 job that you hate in an air conditioned office building wishing for the weekend. Not trekking through a river on a coconut boat. You're a tourist. Be a tourist.

@alexanderrX_ @dhh They can tell on the prompt level. Much like previously they could tell on the language level, but couldn't on the machine code level like people in 80s/90s could while producing super optimized assembly.

My take on the LLM boom: very competent engineers became 10x once they started running multiple agents in parallel. Their output has compounded. Others are producing roughly the same as before. They let AI do the morning’s work and relax the rest of the day. The bigger issue for both is shallow understanding. A lot of people are just approving AI-generated code. When asked how the systems they built actually work, they can’t explain it. That is worrying imo

Hooks. Built my whole intervention system around them. A PreToolUse hook intercepts any tool call before execution - run a script that checks conditions, inject context, or block the action. Zero token cost for the decision layer. For agent-to-agent handoff, delegation rules in CLAUDE.md with score-based routing work well - main agent spawns sub-agents automatically when criteria match.

Self-improving agents 101: I asked Claude Code: "Show me everything we were working on yesterday" Instead of just checking, it started changing code on its own. Out of nowhere, another agent (monitoring everyone) jumped in and sent this msg to my Claude Code session:

Run /insights in #Claude Code. It generated some actionable suggestions for me, and flagged problems I’d quietly normalized, like the agent getting confused about the current working directory in a monorepo.

@levelsio If switching between 6 months at a time, proximity is less of a concern. I’d consider lifestyle first. But I never been to Spain yet to judge between.

One thing I learnt living all around the world for the last decade is that there really is no perfect place Some places have clean air like Portugal and Spain but that's also because they don't really have industry and their economies are in many ways broken Then you have the booming South East Asia where everything seems to be growing at all times, you can live in skyscraper penthouses with infinity pools for less than you pay rent in Europe, but then you also just have really bad air quality and the highest traffic deaths in the world You can go live in Japan and Korea where people are so polite and it's so safe, silent and tidy but then you realize they're also some of the most socially isolating places on Earth, kinda because of it You can move to the US, have the most functional economy in the world, with the largest product and service offering, where people actually want to work, but then in general most places aren't walkable and you're driving everywhere because that's just how most of the country was designed You can then live in Europe where you have actually do have walkable streets, a pace of life that's more about life than work, but then you have the issue everything is slow and many things don't really work properly and you're lucky to get a plumber to come, because people don't really care about work (how's that slow pace of life, huh?) So yes there's no perfect place, and the longer you are in one place, after the honeymoon of a new place is over, you often start getting annoyed with all the things that are wrong about that particular place One solution to this that me and my friends have found is to mix at least 2 places to live (and we even have friends with many kids that do this), this is kind of a brain hack: you let your brain never adapt to one place by switching to the other place every 6 months or so. Your brain keeps thinking it's getting the novelty of a new place (honeymoon vibe) and you can have the pros/cons of two places that are counter in many ways to complement each other: For example Portugal and Thailand: - Portugal has clean air and mellow lifestyle near the beach, but services and gov stuff doesn't really work well - Thailand you can have the 10 million people big city lifestyle in skyscrapers with amazing convenience and everything works, but you have really bad air quality much of the year There's lots of combos that can complement if you think of it like that
@levelsio tweet media
@levelsio@levelsio

And you have to give it to Spain and Portugal One thing they shine at is air quality, it's some of the cleanest air in the world Which is why I like living here after a decade of Asia and its perpetual smog issues

@NathalieTocci Why would they condemn removal of illegitimate president that they didn't recognize? They recognize head of national assembly who is lawfully an interim president, even though only in theory, because Maduro has the security forces which kept him in rule.

Zajímavý koncept už druhým rokem testují v Jablonci. Místo téměř 7 miliard Kč zisku si majitel firmy ponechá pouhých 6,2 miliard a zbytek rozdá pracujícím, kteří zisk vytvořili.
