What songs can you simply NOT listen to? They instantly make you skip the track or change station? For me there are only two. Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On Dexy’s Midnight Runners - Come on Eileen The 2nd particularly is so terrible and ingrained into my brain from attending a glut of 80s and 90s family weddings that I simply cannot allow it in my ears.

EV lease orders surge in U.K. as oil hits $100 / barrel. $120 could mean as high as £1.85/litre in a crisis scenario at the pump and that correlates to R2=0.85 to EV adoption. Let’s hope not, but a prolonged period of crisis in Iran will accelerate EV adoption at a moment where the majority of that supply will be absorbed by Chinese manufacturers- this would be a crying shame for European OEMs (who aren’t ready) given this moment was always when not if. I know the bots and EV haters will jump in, but this is just maths about a crisis of supply that should never have existed! Expanding the sources of energy to avoid a monopoly of fossil fuel is ultimately the only legitimate answer to this cyclical problem.

@samihmanu It has isofix points and a screen in the back for kids to watch Netflix. However, I’ve never tried to put a child seat in the back. I’ll ask around via a repost.

@AppleBytesPhD @spongelover90 @tommason26 @OctopusEnergy Electrician who came to change the plug (rental house) told me off for using a granny charger for more than the (in the booklet) advised 4-6 hour max. Supposedly they’re actually only rated to get you enough charge to fill properly - like a Jerry can. Not a whole tank.

But from experience, make sure you have regularly checked plugs, as I melted my wall socket after charging for 18 hours. Proof of my last 4 weeks of driving for reference - all electric.

I’ve been in and out of EVs since this situation started - even public charging is about 10ppm, my own 50mpg diesel is about 18ppm currently. The temptation to buy an EV right now is STRONG.

@hiltonholloway They have a place. Amazon depot by my house has 100+ eSprinter - and each day they go out on their route and come back and plug in. For long distance couriers, they’re not right. For multi drop depot to depot, so long as the routing knows their limitation, they’re fine.

Electric vans are especially hopeless, especially when you realise how far the average Transit travels in a year.

Been with @O2 for years, apparently I can’t get the same deals from comparison websites as new customers. They get 40gb for £8.00 and the best they’ll do for me is 3gb for £25.
