In 2014, Texas, Ronald Lee Haskell disguised himself in a FedEx uniform and walked into his ex-wife's sister's home.
Enraged by his divorce, he tied up his ex wife's sister, her husband & four kids (ages 4-13).
He executed them all one by one.
The couple’s fifth child, 15-year-old Cassidy Stay, was also shot in the head, but the bullet grazed her skull. She played dead in a pool of blood, too scared to even breathe.
Ronald left to murder her grandparents next.
Cassidy crawled to the phone with broken fingers while bleeding out. She calmly told 911: "He's heading to kill my grandparents right now!"
Police halted Ronald on route. He was arrested and charged with 6 counts of capital murder. In 2019, he was sentenced to death.

The claim that nobody close to Starmer knew Robbins had overruled the official vetting process of Mandelson has now been clearly debunked.
So the fallback official line is that, yes, Cabinet Office permanent secretary Cat Little and Cabinet secretary Antonia Romeo knew sometime last month — along with, eventually, a dozen Cabinet Office lawyers and officials.
But they did not inform the PM or send the relevant papers to Parliament’s intelligence committee, as instructed by the Commons, because they were doing ‘expedited checks’ on the contents to determine what could and could not be released.
Maybe. But there was also a growing suspicion within the Cabinet Office that the delay was because a cover up was underway — and I am in no doubt the leak to the Guardian on Thursday about Mandelson flunking his vetting was entirely motivated by a determination to thwart any cover up.

The idea that Robbins was in some way restricted from saying anything to the PM about Mandelson’s vetting is the British Establishment at its worst. Stifle the flow of information to keep everybody outside its magical circle in the dark. It won’t wash and those mandarins (current and former) making these self-serving claims should be treated with derision. Mandelson was Starmer’s appointment. Not Robbins’. In a letter to Richard Holden MP, July 24 2025, Robbins baldly states — ‘Mandelson was directly appointed by Ministers’. So I would argue he actually had a duty to inform the PM about a very material fact related to the PM’s appointment. Not to disclose it is a dereliction of duty. In any case Starmer already seemed to know quite a lot about the vetting. He continually referred to it -- in some detail — to justify his barmy decision to push through Mandy’s appointment in the first place.
