I can’t express how enraging and unjust this decision is. No one ever filed a complaint about her pamphlet written 20 years ago. The prosecutors only found out because of a witch hunt after her Bible tweet, dredging anything they could up. 11 judges over three levels of courts over 5 years looked at her case. 8 would fully acquit, but 3 decided that a handful of lines were “too” offensive. So Paivi must be made a criminal. How is that in any way justice? On top of that, they order the pamphlet destroyed and removed from the internet. Truly Year Zero, Orwellian thinking. Conservative Christian beliefs made a perpetual crime. Through it all, Paivi has exemplified a truly Christlike spirit. This ordeal should have been over today, but it isn’t. This decision should outrage the world over how extreme the European “hate speech” regime has become.

🚨BREAKING: Päivi Räsänen unanimously acquitted for her Bible tweet, but convicted of “hate speech” for a 20+ year-old church pamphlet The conviction is under the “war crimes and crimes against humanity” section of Finland’s criminal code, alongside Bishop Juhana Pohjola.

The South Carolina Senate just passed S.862, a bill that would let parents make healthcare decisions for a child over eighteen if that child is still on their insurance if they are facing a health care crisis. So let’s get this straight. South Carolina may be willing to recognize parental authority when a child is 22, 24, or even 26 years old. But not for a 8,10 or 12 yo? And if anyone thinks parents already have that protection, they need to go read current South Carolina law. SECTION 63-5-350 says: Health services of any kind may be rendered to minors of any age without the consent of a parent or legal guardian when, in the judgment of the provider, those services are deemed necessary. Any age. That means under current law, a provider can decide health services are necessary for a minor without parental consent. HB4757 would repeal that language. That makes no sense. Young children face real health crises too. They face mental health struggles, medical decisions, and life changing situations. In those moments, parents should not be sidelined, shut out, or treated like obstacles. Parents should be the primary decision makers for their children. Always. If we trust parents at 26, then we should trust them at 8 or 10. You cannot say parents are competent enough to guide an adult child still on their insurance, but not worthy of clear legal protection when their minor child is young, vulnerable, and completely dependent on them. It is outrageous that the Senate could move to protect parental involvement for grown adults while still failing to clearly protect parents of minor children. Parents should not be kept in the dark. Parents should not be pushed aside. Parents should not have to battle schools, systems, or bureaucrats for the right to raise their own kids. Protect children by protecting parents. Give HB4757 a hearing.

I stood with these women at the beginning of 2025 and 2026 to protect women(and men) in their private spaces. Yesterday, the senate passed the “bathroom” bill with a small amendment. It will come back to the house where we will concur and send it to the Governor!

🚨 URGENT: CALL YOUR SENATORS NOW! 🚨 The South Carolina Student Physical Privacy Act (H. 4756)—our "Private Space" bill—is on special order for the Senate floor TODAY! The Senate is scheduled to gavel in at 1:00 PM. ⚠️ WE HAVE A MAJOR CONCERN: Rumors are circulating that the Senate is planning to amend the bill to REMOVE college campuses from the safety protections before passing it. Our college girls deserve the same privacy and safety as K-12 students. Many South Carolina colleges are already looking for this bill to be their shield. We cannot let these protections be stripped away for our daughters and granddaughters on campus! 📞 YOUR MISSION: Call your Senator immediately. The message is simple: "Please pass H. 4756 exactly AS IS. Do NOT remove college campuses from the bill!" Find your Senator here: scstatehouse.gov/legislatorssea… Time is of the essence. Please share this post and let’s make our voices heard before they go into session at 1 PM! #SCPolitics #SaveOurSpaces #ProtectOurGirls #H4756 #PrivacyMatters #SouthCarolina

Thank you, @MissouriTimes for publishing this OpEd. “...When bureaucrats are allowed to override the decisions of fit parents, parents suffer the erosion of a pre-political right: their fundamental right to direct their children’s upbringing, health care, mental health care, and education. Missouri families deserve protection from such unjust interference...” themissouritimes.com/opinion-challe…

This is happening all over the country. SC is so close to the finish line on passing legislation to protect against this!!! More bravery is needed in our statehouses!
Doug Richey@DougRichey

Protecting women and girls from this violation of privacy is paramount. State Rep Becky Laubinger’s legislation will accomplish this protection (HB2536). Gender-neutral changing spaces/bathrooms and violations of privacy go hand-in-hand...over 60 times in this case!

Strong families build a strong South Carolina—and the House took that seriously with a near-unanimous vote inHB4757 to protect children and parents. Now the Senate must decide: will they protect SC families too?

🚨ICYMI: Maine just approved a ballot initiative to keep males out of girls’ sports and private spaces! Lawmakers failed to act, so parents took matters into their own hands. Mainers will now decide directly. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE GRASSROOTS EFFORT. thecentersquare.com/maine/article_…

@PamelaEvette @SCJustinEvans Hb4757 which the house passed almost unanimously could help the parents have recourse. I do hope you encourage the Senate to do something about this.

Why are parental rights, and by extension the family, under attack? The attack is leveled because: ➡️ families are barriers to collectivists; ➡️ families resist cental planning; ➡️ families don't need statist experts; ➡️ families threaten a leftist future; ➡️ families are the first God-ordained institution of human society. Being pre-political, families are a constant reminder that the rights and authority they poses, to manage their internal affairs, are inalienable. This truth aggravates secularist nanny-state utopians.
