🚨HIGHT STREET WITH 13 TURKISH BARBERS APPROVES OPENING NUMBER 14
- The small town of Porth has 6,000 residents
- All of the barbers are within a 0.3 mile radius (6 minute walk)
What do you think is going on? Hmm... 🤔
I don’t have the power to sack an actor from the series and I wouldn’t exercise it if I did. I don’t believe in taking away people’s jobs or livelihoods because they hold legally protected beliefs that differ from mine.
Due to a car driving on to the tracks there are currently no trams between Piccadilly and Ashton-under-Lyne
Tickets and passes can be used on the 7, 216, 219, 230 and 231 Bee Network services.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause to your journeys this evening.
If you live in a Labour-run council, your council tax is on average £300 lower. Meanwhile, the Tories are so desperate to out Reform Reform, they’ve become indistinguishable.
Today’s Business Questions 👇
@BeeNetwork Do you think it would a positive thing to put Metrolink travel disruptions onto the Bee Network App? The disruption is listed on the TfGM website but not in the obvious place, the BN App? Thoughts anyone??
@LissaKEvans In other words " Errr actually we're all rather hoping that no-one will notice and we can then just carry on as though nothing has happened. Thank you for your letter."
I wrote to the Corporation of London to ask if the Ladies' Pond on Hampstead Heath would once again be women only & received this reply. Am I right in thinking that
a) the judgement makes it completely clear 'what this means in practice', and
b) they're hoping to ignore it.

I’m going for a routine breast screening this morning and if the mammographer could have been a man, I wouldn’t be having it. BBC Breakfast just literally harangued Kemi Badenoch over & over, for sticking with female-only mammographers. A female interviewer too. The Beeb is pushing this line hard today. FFS I have HAD IT with male encroachment: recruit more women, & leave us tf ALONE.
@DalgetySusan I think i am tempted to say you should have thought about this matter before it became critical. We all know the NHS just can't react to anything quickly.
Why are our GP services so broken? I have high blood pressure - I take 4 different medicines to control it. I am off tomorrow for a week in Greece and needed a new ‘script’. I ordered it online at 9am on Monday - it takes a maximum of 48 hours to process.
I have just been to pick it up but it hasn’t been processed because of GP illness and ‘other reasons’. I had to assert that I needed it today to a receptionist who was at best unhelpful and worst down right rude and with absolutely no empathy.
I am to call back after 3 today and it “may” be processed. But there is no guarantee. I am now sitting outside, in tears, because I was made to feel as if I was a burden, a demanding patient, someone who was a nuisance.
High blood pressure medicine has to be taken every day otherwise your risk of stroke or heart attack increases significantly. But hey, who cares?
🏟️ Wembley Woes: City’s semi-final trip sees a mere 27,000 fans turn up—less than half the stadium’s capacity! After years of Wembley dominance, it looks like not everyone’s jumping on the bandwagon anymore.
If you ask me, maybe Manchester folk are saving their pennies for the real party—like a proper pub pint instead of another Wembley visit. Supporters or not, it’s a reminder that even the mighty City can’t fill every seat.

🚨🇬🇧 “About 8 million people in The UK live on their own - many people are able to welcome a refugee into their home”
Now Government Think Tanks & the radical Left want Asylum Seekers to live with people who have space in their homes.
This was always the next inevitable step.
@stomababe I suffer with relapsing colitis. My old boss told me that his aunty had IBD & he didn't know what all the fuss was about. At the end of my HR meeting to report the matter I resigned. Big problem with hidden condition is that if they can't see the issue they don't think it exists
I went on the underground today. I was feeling very sick with dehydration and exhausted, and my bag was filling up.
I had 25 stops to go through to get home, so I wore my blue badge as it was rush hour.
I went through 15 stops without a single person offering a seat to me and only managed to sit once the carriage emptied…. Yet @UKLabour think its possible for all disabled people to maintain jobs? They have no idea the barriers we are up against. They would not last a day in our shoes.
Ed Miliband gets completely owned in this interview on energy prices. The UK has the highest industrial electricity prices in the developed world. And Ed Miliband lurches into floundering around with disingenuous answers to avoid the home truths of this.
