Why are we still taking our shoes off at airports in 2026? Is it actually policy from Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, spillover from Transportation Security Administration rules, or just outdated security theater at this point? 👟

Not great UX, but you can export your current conversations from ChatGPT / Claude, save them in a directory you want to use, and have Claude Code / Codex write a bunch of markdown files that encapsulate your knowledge base based on the convo history. These get automatically loaded into context if you start using Claude Code / Codex for conversations instead of the apps

This may be a dumb question but I’ll ask it here anyways: I can’t find a good way for my various AI chats to automatically sync its conversation history into a structured knowledge base. So that as I update various chats from time to time and refine context, my knowledge base automatically grows with this new info.

@dsamuel @teslaownersSV fsd needs to be robust enough that these events are very rare, and manually deal with severe events with a tow truck like a human I'd expect severely snowy weather to be a blocker for a while, maybe best to have the fleet avoid it for a few winters

@teslaownersSV I still don’t understand how RoboTaxi handles confusing edge cases (the vehicle gets stuck in the mud or confused with a drive through at McDonalds). How will Tesla handle these cases?

🚀 **Cathie Wood nails it:** Robotaxi is Elon Musk’s ultimate gift to patient $TSLA shareholders! The autonomous taxi market is about to explode — scaling from ~$1B today to a staggering **$10 TRILLION** opportunity in just 5-10 years. This could completely transform Tesla’s economics: • Gross margins soaring from ~16% on today’s EVs to an incredible **80-90%** on Robotaxis • Full vertical integration giving Tesla costs **50% lower** than Waymo by 2030 In a winner-take-most industry, long-term holders are positioned for massive rewards. Buckle up — the future is autonomous. What’s your take on the Robotaxi timeline?

@troysimpson @tobi Many of these projects have public bidding. But the conditions are to apply/ bid are too strict - business should be in place for 5+ years, $x million revenue in the past 3 years, the company should have y employees etc. And the ranking and evaluation has subjective elements too.

To build a sustained human presence on the Moon, we are building @NASAMoonBase, prioritizing surface operations and scalable infrastructure.  - Frequent robotic landings and mobility testing including MoonFall drones  - Starting in 2027 nearly monthly cadence of equipment and rovers with scientific payloads landing on the Moon.  - Investments in power, communications, and surface mobility  - Scalable infrastructure to support long-term human presence The objective is clear: build the foundation for an enduring lunar base and take the next step toward Mars.

.@mcuban says humanoid robots won't last more than 5-10 years. Instead, we'll "design the house to fit the robot, and design the robot to fit the house." "You could create a house where the pantry, the refrigerator, and the washing machines were hidden behind the garage, if you even have a garage. That way you could redesign the house so that all the living space was for people."
