@ThourCS2 @eugenio8a8 Aimpunch is skill based somewhat because it does reward positioning and whoever shoots first. Other competitive shooters have had it as a core mechanic that works well such as pubg but they tweaked it well

I asked CS2 Pros about the Aim Punch with Armor Update, and this is what they have to say about it: 🇵🇱 xKacpersky (Ninjas in Pyjamas): After the update, I can feel it a lot. Sometimes you get hit once and can’t even shoot back, even with full armor. 🇵🇱 mhL (Wildcard): It feels too strong. It should definitely be reduced. 🇧🇾 lollipop21k (Minsk House): Ithink it should be fixed. It feels very awkward. 🇩🇪 faveN (BIG): I don’t know if it’s just me, but I rarely noticed any difference. 🇷🇺 KaiR0N- (Nemiga): I’d say it’s not good at all, but I got used to it pretty quickly. 🇷🇺 kl1m (MiBR): I don’t really notice it. 🇸🇪 LNZ (MiBR): To be honest, I don’t feel much of a difference. 🇸🇪 spooke (OG): It’s pretty bad, not gonna lie. It feels way more visual than before. 🇸🇪 adamb (OG): I really don’t like the update, especially the leg movement and the aim punch. 🇸🇪 Lekr0 (Johnny Speeds): Honestly, I didn’t notice it too much during games or practice, other than when I first tested it on a server. 🇸🇪 Plopski (Metizport): I feel like it doesn’t affect me too much because I don’t always notice it, but when I do, it really throws me off. It feels like you die faster because your aim gets completely thrown off. In short, I don’t like it, but I don’t notice it all the time. 🇸🇪 eraa (Alliance): It’s horrible. They need to fix it. Getting aim punched while zoomed in with an AWP, even with full kevlar, feels awful. 🇩🇰 Lucky (Washed): It might be a little too much. It rewards spraying more and it might be why the M4A4 feels a lot stronger now. 🇲🇰 Nucleonz (Falcons Force): Personally, I don’t like it because it’s harder to one-tap people with the new aim punch, especially with a Deagle against SMGs. I liked the game much more without it, it felt cleaner. When trying to one-tap someone, your crosshair didn’t shake. Overall, I think the game was better without aim punch, at least for me.

@hobshy sometimes you watch pro matches and you think "damn I feel like I could do that" because of how easy they make it look and then you watch these same pros on dm servers vs regular people and you realize how big the gap really is

I don’t know man, deserved not to go to the major that’s for sure and there is no freaking excuses. Rough months incoming but I never gave up at any point these months, but this is the lowest point of my career. I will fight and I hope I can survive this and come back. 😞

@Trevy35 @FACEITcs My reaction speeds at 40 are around 150ms on humanbanchmark. And they were 150-160 at 30 as well. Load of bs this meme. The reason there’s less older players is they quit cs and have more important committments, that is all.

@ThourCS2 Nah. Don’t remove the objectively most loved maps. Valve should just do a vote each season based off tier 1 and 2 pros so the most unbalanced map gets pulled and fixed each season.

I think maps should be removed based on how long they’ve been in the map pool, with the oldest map removed first each season, instead of removing maps based on how often they’re played. It should be -Mirage, not Train.

Understating depreciation by extending useful life of assets artificially boosts earnings -one of the more common frauds of the modern era. Massively ramping capex through purchase of Nvidia chips/servers on a 2-3 yr product cycle should not result in the extension of useful lives of compute equipment. Yet this is exactly what all the hyperscalers have done. By my estimates they will understate depreciation by $176 billion 2026-2028. By 2028, ORCL will overstate earnings 26.9%, META by 20.8%, etc. But it gets worse. More detail coming November 25th. Stay tuned.

@ThourCS2 Utterly useless test and in the margin of error results. Reflex can push your card to 99% always without getting input lag from max gpu useage. Capping at 240 manually with reflex is utterly useless data

u/jtl06 ran end-to-end latency tests in CS2 and found barely any difference in latency between Reflex On and Off at 240 FPS / 240 Hz. 🤔 Reflex Off: 10.304 (Max: 15.056) Reflex On: 10.599 (Max: 16.648)

@Matty_OW @ayodps Your both right. But aim isn’t as critical to be pro as ppl think. There’s a baseline, but the best aimer alone wouldn’t even get a kill in pro cs. It’s only a part of it. Going pro requires incredible game understanding and multitasking. Aiming well is 1/10 things to prac
