They didn’t inform me that my credit had been returned, but did inform me credit had been spent! My recommendation is to stay away from them if at all possible. Apparently they don’t think it’s important to let you know they have canceled their service.

1.5 hours of waiting for chat and they keep trying to tell me I only purchased a farelock. Here is the receipt I received for my farelock. I don’t see anything about a farelock in it. Just a good old you bought the ticket. Which I did over the phone with one of their agents!

Hey. I guess @united thinks it’s cool to refund your ticket, not tell you, and say fuck you when you ask about it. I booked a ticket six months ago. The day of mg flight I was told my ticket was refunded #UnitedAirlines #Flying #airlines #terriblecustomerservice.

I would ask whats’s wrong? If a friend needs a W so bad that they are cheating at a cooperative game clearly they are in a bad place in some part of their life. That or they don’t understand it’s a cooperative game in which case you know, be an adult and talk.

Hey more #ttrpg discourse where GMs think they know more about their players then the players know! #Trustyourplayers as adults and listen to them. Bleed is neither good nor bad on it’s own and stop acting like you can decide for other people what’s good for them.

@LuckLegends @WuDeRpg I mean it makes sense. The fact that RPGs come from games where the goal traditionally is to win means a shift in mentality right? All of the previous understanding of a games goal is to win, so they apply that to their RPG.

I do this in my class as well and it's great.
I start my students into RPGs with Fiasco and one of the key elements in Fiasco is to create an interesting story, so they know what to do in their author break.

Key trick that helps share storytelling in games: "author break." My players - students using games to master fiction writing! - sometimes, like all of us, get wrapped up in their characters. So I'll call "author break" and say: "Okay, step out of your avatars for a moment ..."

@OneShotRPG This distinction doesn’t actually get talked about enough. The better APs are all done by performers with the audience in mind by people with skills to entertain. And the style of game definitely exists outside of APs, but good performers are what make it entertaining.

I guess flinch if you want. The people who appear on my projects *are* performers.
They are still playing a game, but they are also doing things that many players are not. They have developed a set of skills to be entertaining while they play.

Also calling someone who works in an industry a shill or sellout for going to a corporate event for an industry they work in is not cool. Was the summit a crappy PR stunt? Probably. Are people wrong to try and make changes within the system? Absolute not.
