The Gospel is not God hatefully saying, ‘Turn to Me or I’ll send you to hell.’ The Gospel is God’s mercy and grace saying, ‘You’re already on your way to hell, turn to Me, and I will save you.’

@RawMind94 Observation - No one advocates against tithing because they want to honour God more. This is poison.

Everyday Clarity With Mike
Tithing isn't compulsory. In the Old Testament, it was law. In the New Testament, it became a choice. “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7 So why is 10% still enforced like a rule? Giving should come from the heart, it shouldn't be pressured or hammered like it's done in some churches.

To reset a dysfunctional governance system, you start with the low‑hanging reforms that deliver immediate structural impact. First, reduce the size of Parliament by half through an Executive Order and cap each ministry at a maximum of two ministers. Ministers should be under 50 years old and strictly deployed in fields where they have proven technical expertise. Second, remove special‑interest parliamentary seats such as women’s and military representation, and streamline the legislature into a lean, merit‑based institution. Third, enforce economic discipline by restricting small‑scale retail and low‑capital ventures to citizens only, allowing foreign investors to participate only in enterprises above USD 2 million. Fourth, overhaul the Civil Service by bringing in reputable external experts to restructure it, rather than allowing the same system to redesign itself. All Deputy RDC positions would be abolished, and all parallel units operating from State House would be disbanded so that formal institutions can function without interference. Fifth, eliminate patronage by detaining anyone who attempts to seek personal favours on the basis of personal connections. Replace all Permanent Secretaries with career officers under 50 who have risen through the ranks of their respective ministries. Finally, dissolve the Ministry of Public Service and all service commissions like Public, Education, Judicial, Health, Service Commissions and allow each ministry to manage its own human resources directly. AND I WOULD TARMAC EVERY ROAD IN KAMPALA AT GKMA, however minor it might seem. If it’s mapped and being used tarmac.

Papua New Guinea recently voted to amend its Constitution to recognise: "God, the Father; Jesus Christ, the Son; and Holy Spirit, as our Creator and Sustainer of the entire universe and the source of our powers and authorities." It is good to see countries recognising their true source!

These yellow pit stains are usually caused by deodorant or antiperspirant mixing with your sweat. You can remove them by spraying the area with 3% hydrogen peroxide. Let this sit for an hour and then throw the garment into the wash. For more stubborn stains, soak the garment in Oxiclean overnight, then wash. Note that Oxiclean is fine on certain fibers (e.g., cotton), but not others (e.g., silk). Always read labels before using a product.

Something I know (but still underestimate): Your environment shapes your entire reality. The people you surround yourself with determine your outcomes. Surround yourself with people who are constantly talking about the past, you'll be stuck in it. Surround yourself with people thinking big about the future, you'll build a bright one. Spend time with people who encourage you to think bigger. Who believe you’re capable of more. A person is either holding you back or pushing you forward. There is no in between.

5 Reasons to Go to Church: 1. Worship God with Others: your faith wasn’t meant to be solo. 2. Hear Truth: you need Scripture, not just opinions. 3. Find Real Community: people who know you and grow with you. 4. Grow Spiritually: not just informed, but transformed. 5. Be Sent Out: church equips you for what God calls you to, not to run from it. Be the Church. Go to church.

Every day, you are living the results of decisions you've made earlier...whether a day earlier, weeks or months. Next week, this will also be true. Next month, this will be true. Next year, it will be true. Create a life for the future self you want, by your decisions today.

Game theory explains why loyalty without leverage becomes servitude. Loyalty is respected only when departure remains possible. If you cannot leave, your loyalty is no longer interpreted as character. It is interpreted as captivity. Build enough value that your commitment feels chosen, not forced, because only voluntary loyalty has strategic weight.

I wish someone told me this when I was Muslim. It would have saved me many years of wrestling. I thought accepting Jesus meant betraying Allah and throwing away my devotion. That was the lie that kept me trapped. But the truth is, everything I loved about God - His majesty, holiness, mercy, grace - came alive when I met Him in Christ. God is so glorious and mighty, plus, He wasn’t distant anymore. Still all-powerful, but now with me - near me. My old faith felt like pushing a car with no engine. It moved, but it was exhausting. Jesus didn’t replace the car. He became the engine. Now the same devotion is there, but God sustains it. I’m not carrying it alone. That’s what Christ does. He doesn’t kill your love for God. He breathes on it. He multiplies it. Prayer becomes alive. Fasting goes deeper. Worship becomes relationship. You don’t lose God when you follow Jesus. You finally find Him.
