☑️ The @ceo_karnataka is bringing shame to our service. He seems to have lost objectivity & impartiality expected of an IAS officer, let alone the one dealing with elections at the apex level in a State. Whether it is an inadvertent error of having Shakun Rani 3 times in the same polling booth or a malpractice, he should have taken action in the matter first instead of letting updation in two of her entries (not knowing that the 3rd one also exists 😀) from the system at the same millisecond on 10.08.2025!! ☑️ Oath during enquiry under Rule 20(3)(b) is to be taken by the Registration Officer (and not CEO) in his discretion. It is not mandatory - particularly if it is ECI's own data. Yes, if it is a Polling Agent's ticked list, he/she can surely be asked to swear on oath. But CCTV footage should tell the truth. ☑️ The CEO as well as those guiding him from @ECISVEEP are well aware that only Form 17A (signed by the Presiding Officer only) can tell whether a voter had cast his/her vote. @RahulGandhi can't have access to this confidential data. He has to rely on the papers maintained by his Polling Agent. He wrongly calls then Both Level Agent, a term used during revision of Electoral Rolls. ☑️ It has been nearly 15 months since Lok Sabha Elections in Karnataka were held. While justifying deletion of CCTV footage after 45 days (limitation for Election Petition), @ECISVEEP had likened CCTV Footage to Form 17A. So, how come Form 17A is available after 15 months? If yes, share it despite it being confidential.
