I was shocked to see how even major media platforms like Vanguard Newspaper handled the ADC story. Out of all the names in that party, they still chose to use the pictures of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso. That alone speaks volumes. In today’s Nigerian political space, Obi and Kwankwaso are no longer just politicians; they have become political institutions with organic followers, emotional connections, and real street influence. Their names move conversations. No wonder Labour, PDP, ADC, APC, and their supporters cannot do without mentioning them a day. Their faces attract reactions, and their presence alone gives immense political weight to any platform, coalition, or movement. Tinubu should just accept this reality and prepare to exit quietly.

African Union is having fits over Israeli recognition of Somaliland due to fear of some members over secession movements in their own countries-e.g. Ambazonia from Cameroon; Biafra from Nigeria. If these nations treated their minorities justly such movements would not exist!
