Here’s a BTS of a current product design client project. For the last 2 months, I’ve been helping a team take control of their product design process by putting real structure behind it. So far: → 500+ screens redesigned → 100+ custom components → Product Design SOP in place → Product briefs aligned with dev before design starts The biggest shift: → We kil*** the old “everyone edits everything” file and set up a proper WIP + RFD files with pages mirroring the app sidebar. → Design + product collaborate there without chaos, then approved work moves to a Ready for Dev file with proper notes. → All components now live in a dedicated library that syncs across files. → Design owns the files. → We also added a RFD dev review before each sprint so nothing slips. The team is already seeing the impact and heading into their pre-seed with a product that finally feels coherent. Here's a bit of a before and after.
