I met an older guy that made $46m in his late 20s and then raised 8 kids to adulthood with that money. I asked his biggest regret and he said something I've never heard before: 1. I regret having that many kids. 2. I regret raising my kids with a chef and a maid. They never learned how to work, all depend on me financially and none of them have a college degree. That's the first and only time I've ever heard someone admit that they regret having so many kids. Not sure I can wrap my mind around that one (which ones do you keep?), but 8 is a lot... He and all of his kids struggled with obesity as well. Also, #2 is why we won't have a private chef until my 4 kids leave the house. We have a cleaner that only comes to deep clean 1-4x per month. If your kids don't see you work, they won't know how to work. It's simple, but easy to ignore if you have money.

@elonmusk I'm sorry, but that's simply historically inaccurate. Europe wasn't colonized like America. My friendly suggestion: Focus on Tesla, SpaceX, and all the other important topics you undoubtedly know a great deal about, and leave the rest alone.

If one is to use the term “First Nations” or “Indigenous Peoples” or “Native Americans” in the Americas and Antipodes, then, in fairness, it should also apply to English, French, Spanish and other such peoples in Europe

Chris Espinosa is Apple’s longest-serving employee. He joined the company in 1976 at just 14 years old, writing BASIC code when Apple was still operating out of Steve Jobs’ garage. Chris Espinosa holds the unique distinction of being Apple’s longest-serving employee, having joined the company in 1976 at just 14 years old. A Bay Area teenager fascinated by computers, he began working alongside Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak when Apple was still run out of Jobs’ parents’ garage in Los Altos, California. While attending high school, Espinosa wrote BASIC code and helped create user manuals for the Apple II, one of Apple’s earliest and most influential machines. His employee badge number—8—underscores just how early he became part of the company’s journey. Over nearly five decades, Espinosa has watched Apple grow from a tiny startup into one of the world’s most valuable corporations. He has worked under every CEO in Apple’s history and contributed across software, developer tools, and documentation. Despite countless opportunities elsewhere, he remained loyal, often quipping that he “joined Apple before it was a company.” Today, his career stands as a living connection to Apple’s origins and a rare example of lifelong dedication in Silicon Valley.

I’ve met pilots who got rendered more aid going down in a war zone. If you see someone hurt and your first impulse is to film them suffering, you need to slap yourself and do what you wish someone would do for you instead. Simple. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Father in law drunkenly told me to fuck off and leave his daughter for good. Went into a tirade about the hard work he contributed to this country post immigration 40 years ago. Yelled I'm an entitled American who thinks I'm going to Valhalla off bitcorns and he's embarrassed I'm fucking his daughter. All 4 of our kids were at the table. Up only, MF'z.

Let's crowdsource some sentiment for the greater good. For all who are spending time with family, others, during Christmas -- what is the sentiment around Crypto? Are people still burned? Are they curious? What are the normals saying? Are they discussing ETFs? Share here for all.

It’s funny that baby boomers look down on younger people and think we are less informed and lack critical thinking, when really any internet discourse with them is a testament that their generations are full of the most gullible, poorly educated, pedantic trolls imaginable. Boomers fucked up everything, possibly forever, for everyone, had life way easier, kicked the can so far down the road they forgot about it, take spiteful glee in the failures of their children, and will write you a sonnet about why young people don’t work hard enough.

Call me a psycho but whenever I fly into a city, I ask the entire plane if anyone wants to share an Uber. ~50% of the time, I succeed and get to save money, CO2, and maybe make a friend. Personally find it crazy that more people don't do this. Human coordination is so unsolved
