Very skeptical on the future cycles of the altcoins. In the last 10 days Ethereum moved up 25% and barely any alts matched it. In the past, BTC rose, ETH followed, then other alts had massive runs. This time, BTC rose independently, ETH rose slower- with a large move up only once likelihood of tradfi allocation rose. Alts have risen far less than ETH, without the massive rises of the past (yet). Previously altcoins meant high risk/high reward, but for quite a while they've been high risk/low reward relative to the performance of BTC and ETH. I'm cautious of jumping back into trading alts. Today I'm finding the asymmetric trade opportunity exists in Bitcoin treasury companies. Thus far, these have been medium risk/high reward, provided you sell when mNAV reaches > 2.2x. Cycles are changing and I'll keep sharing new observations- for now, practice high risk management with alts and consider higher performing plays.

Consolidating all of my charts, including #Bitcoin and altcoins — the current bull run should peak around Q1 to Q2 of 2026, followed by a massive blowoff topic (first major impulse to the downside). This projection aligns very well with the post 4-year Bitcoin halving cycle.

Living off-grid, self-sufficient, and far from civilization is beautiful, but it’s no romantic fantasy. It’s a challenge. Every single day. Tonight is the coldest night of the year in Brazil. Below freezing. And of course, this is when my batteries decide to fail, most likely from the cold. My entire system started collapsing just as my chicks began to hatch. They probably wouldn’t survive even an hour without heat. So I was outside in the dark, reconfiguring inverters and chasing fault codes at one in the morning, trying to keep everything alive. If I hadn’t acted fast, I would probably be waking up to death. Now I’m trying to sleep, but I can’t. I’ve set my alarm to ring every sixty minutes so I can check if the system is still running or if I need to crawl back out and restart the generator. This is what self-reliance actually looks like.
