Where was your favorite reading spot as a kid? I had this spot along our fence where I could climb onto the roof. I would lean against the chimney on the shady side and read unbothered for hours.

I can't explain it but burgers served in Styrofoam containers tasted better.

I might be the minority here, but I don't need the first sentence to WOW me. This instant gratification culture is toxic. What happened to easing into a good story?
